Most of us know this character from the comic books, and the fact that he has a myriad of amazing powers thanks to his Kryptonian heritage. We all know:

• Super Strength
• Invulnerability
• Flight
• Super Speed
• X-ray Vison
• Heat Vision

But there were also some relatively unknown powers of his:

• Telescopic Vision
• Microscopic Vision
• Infra Vision
• Super Ventriloquism (? )
• Super Breath

So here’s my question: If you could have one of Superman’s powers, which would it be?

I'd have the x-ray vision so I could see into Mr Sleeps front room and find out exactly what he needs "super blowing" for.

Hmm...not X-Ray vision. I prefer to use my imagination for this. The reality's never as good as what my imagination comes up with anyway.

Hmm....not superspeed...I already type faster than my computer can show it on the screen most the time.

Hmm...flight wouldn't be good. Then anyone would be able to kook up my skirt.

Hmm...infravision? Nah...I'd probably blind myself.

Invulnerability would be nice. That way, when some idiotboy decides to hit me, they'll get hurt instead.

Personally none of those.
I would either like Storms - from the X-men -power of the elements.
Or Magneto's power over metal.

Actually, Magneto's power is over electromagnetic feilds. Thus the name "Magneto." He warps the Earth's own electromagnetic field to provide him flight.

Having wings like Angel(not those metal ones Archangel has) would be cool.

There is nothing (other than local decency laws) stopping you from wearing mini-skirts, McBane!

Super Speed really should come in handy it could spare me a lot o time.
finishing your work 100 times faster then normal who wouldn't want that.

and well X-ray Vision..... well... uhh... jeah....... why not!

Sure... but you would then be wearing your briefs outside your spandex with a belt to support it (SUCH fashion!)

As for powers, I'd go for super speed. More efficient in a lot of things, like checking exams of my 350+ students ...

...aside of course of being able to satisfy my woman...

Able to "throw" your voice somewhere or someting so that it would seem that your voice is coming from somewhere else.

I would go for superstrength if I had to pick just one. picking up buildings, jumping incredibly high, all that would come with superstrength. After that would come X-ray vision so I could ahem study the effects of X-rays on women's skirts.

What is with the males and wearing miniskirts in this place???

Correct SS, angles wings would be nice but where would you hide them?

Another ability i would like would be to blend the light around me like Fatale -X-men - again.
So i am there but for invisible at the same time.

I haven't read the X-men for along time like 2 years or 3.
You know anywhere i can catch up on what i missed.
Or just a summary of the plots for the past years?

Angel's wings are now retractable, aside from the fact that they are supposedly alive --- courtesy of Apokolips.

I'm out of touch too with the X-men. What's the latest?

Well, Angel hid his wings by wrapping them around his chest/stomach area underneath his shirt. Hmm...he didn't have anything in his way there, though.

I haven't been able to keep up with X-Men either cause Wal-Mart stopped selling X-Men comic books. Though, more of my X-Men knowledge tends to come from the cartoon that was on FOX.

Anyone read the Excaliber comic book that had Shadowcat and the chibi X-Men? *calls them Chibi X-Men because she can't remember what they were called*

There were other comic books with the chibi X-Men, too. Very funny stuff. I wish I could find my comic books.

One thing (2 actualy) He gets his power from the sun and 2 he has regenerative powers(cuts come back in micro seconds not in the dark) and kryptonite musty stop his power(super inteligence) thats why he gets head aches

hmm why did you stop reading the x-men?

I because i moved to Cairo and couldn't get it there.
But another reason was that they were messing up left and right.

Take 2 comics, one say X-force and the other the UnCanny X-men.
Angel would appear in both, at the same time and would get various injuries and in the next months issues he would be all healed and off somewhere else.
The Continuity sucked for a long time.
Also the stories were getting pathetic.
A new villian every 2 minutes, it was like they were running out of ideas for new baddies.

Finally i have found a place where i can get the comics, but i want to know what is happening to decide if it is worth buying them again.
