Just curious what are you doing.
If you are still interested in new romance then we could discuss it on BG2 SoA/ToB forum. I have almost finished my exams and I haven't got ToB so far, so I will spend more time on my customization.

Senior Wizard!!

How are you?
Hmm, we've kind of let the alternate romance thread slip...Our adventures are continuing on the Order of the Dark Flame thread here on SYM (the last adventure ended). We've taken the liberty of writing you in

Hmm, I have the collection of yours dialogues - I will try to give some my comments and post it somewhere (in ToB/SoA forum as I suppose, however in this huge fury of ToB topics my romance topic will simply disappear.
I would even think about connecting romances with events in "Pantheon" add-on somewhere (maybe something from the dark past of Edwin ?!)

You can always post it here if you're worried about that. But I'm sure we can look for it if we know it's there

(ToB isn't available here yet, though I have been told June 29th... Hope my computer is fixed by then!

)
It might be helpful to know more about what you're doing in the expansion, if you want the dialogues integrated a bit better...
BTW Dragonwench is on holiday at the moment(back soon I think), she was working on dialogues for Kivan

One wonders how the romances have been expanded in ToB, and how the Senior Wizard's additions will be affected. Ah, the possibilities! I might be able to answer my own question, since I purchased ToB yesterday, but I haven't installed it yet. I have yet to finish a BG2 game! I'm not ready to move on! How bad is that? Also, as I understand it, even Kevin Dorner's patches are incompatible with ToB. Will the Wizard have to re-write?

I don't think Manveru is doing anything to the existing romances, so that shouldn't be affected, it is just adding more characters that the PC can have a romance with.
And I believe Kev's patches just come with a warning, since he hasn't tested them with ToB then he can't guarantee that there won't be any problems

I think a lot of the fixes have been incorporated into the expansion anyway

Hooray for Mr Kevvy
I can't get ToB yet and it's not fair

Basically my romance making will be only dialogue files modification - of course we could think about pure ToB version or SoA version for people that don't want to buy ToB. Unfortunately in any case of interaction such as Anomen - Valygar, Edwin -Anomen and so on.. we have to modify Anomen's files as well.

I have read many bad things about ToB installing on TeamBG boards - so far the best solution is to reinstall totally your BG2 SoA in aim to install ToB - and delete all things from override folder (even my add-ons like additional NPCs. This is some kind of Bioware's response for customizators work - actually we will have to check all files to make them compatible with ToB !

. I cannot do it so far because I haven't got ToB !
