I see what your talking about...

The type of Animation were talking about is Japenese Animation, otherwise known as "Anime". While your shows are animation, they are american made, not that there is anything wrong with that, it's just a different style.

Johhny Bravo is the funniest cartoon I've seen. It even beats Bugs and the looney toons.

Animé is Japanese for animation and specifically refers to Japanese Animation. Anything American-made is not classified as animé, even if it attempts to copy the anime style of animation. The animé style itself varies from animé to animé.

Anyway, my fave animé are:

1.)Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon
2.)Shin Kidousenki Gundam Wing
3.)Neon Genesis Evangelion
4.)Digimon
5.)Tenkuu no Escaflowne
6.)Armitage III
7.)Galaxy Express 999
8.)Project A-ko
9.)Dragonball/DBZ
10.)Tenchi Muyo

Vampire Hunter D <------truely a classic

Fist of the North Star <---violent as can be and sorta cheesy but also a classic

Oh, I understand now. You see boys, it takes an intelligent woman to really explain things. Thank you very much, Sailor Saturn. ;)

I have see:

Armitage III
Galaxy Express 999
Project A-ko

But, not the others. What would be the best Miss Saturn??

I definitely recommend Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon(beware the dubbed, check out the subbed) and Shin Kidousenki Gundam Wing first. Tenkuu no Escaflowne(beware the FOX edited, check out the subbed) and Digimon are also ones to be checked out. Digimon Season 3 can be seen on FOX on Saturday Mornings. *will be running off in 45 minutes to watch it* :D Tenchi Muyo is good, but can be very confusing sometimes. They were showing it on Toonami last year, but I was working back then. Because of that, I only saw episodes everyone two or three times a week. That got very confusing. So, I bought Tenchi The Movie: Tenchi In Love. Two more good animé are Vampire Princess Miyu and Nightwalker.

Courage is a really funny cartoon too. I really liked the alien duck episode. The one in which the two brothers came back to save their third brother. Laughed my ass off.

But Johhny Bravo is the best.

You people watch digimon. Thats 5 year old kid cartoon, right, or am i talking about something else.
Sorry i don't know much about these anime cartoons.

I've seen DBZ. ITs pretty good, although the story is the same in each series. Has some touching momemnts though, when somebody dies. (gohan going SS2 when android dies, goku going SS when Krillin dies, Picilo sacrificing himself to save Gohan.)

One thing to keep in mind is that the original Japanese of things like Digimon, Sailor Moon, and other similar shows are geared towards an older audience than the dubs. The dubs are bad. Dubs are evil. Subs are the way to go. I watch the dubs because it can be quite hilarious, and quite sad, to see what the Dubbers do when they dub these shows. I read an article in a magazine once in which these Dubbers stated that we prefer the dubbed version(which is horribly edited and often brutally truncated) over the subbed(unedited). The fact that they believe this is sad and disturbing. It is true that we liked the dubs before we knew better and there are still those like that, but those of us who have seen the truth, who have seen the subbed, we know better. We know that Duo is the god of death and not the great destroyer. We know that Haruka and Michiru are lovers. We know the truth!! *stops ranting about idiotic dubbers*

Another poor soul mistaking Digimon for a copycat program... :(

Digimon is not a copycat of Pokémon. Sure, it's popularity was probably given a boost by Pokémon being so popular, but it is not a copycat. Digimon is quite different from Pokémon. I've not played any Digimon games, but from what I've seen the Pokémon games are better than the Digimon games. However, I prefer the Digimon animé over the Pokémon animé. Though I don't care much for the Pokémon show, I do like the first 3 Pokémon movies. :)
