If you had the Voice, what three things would you first use it for?

Only 3 things????? - why all these restricions, if I had "the voice" I'd use it anytime I see fit :D

I might use it on Bill Gates, get him to give me all of his money :D

And could think of a couple of less noble things to do with it also :o :D

A method used by the Bene Gesserit to control humans & homo sapiens. It is an intonation of speech that hits the neuro-kinentic pathways and induces automatic acquiescence to commands given by the speaker. Simply put, if, three times, you could tell someone what to do, and they would instantly, and irrevocably do it, what would you say, and to whom?

I'd use the Voice to force Bill Gates to be honest with everyone. The sheer joy of watching him say how he played legislators for saps, sold his one-time partners down the river without a cent, and tried to repeatedly monopolize software would be worth it.

Second use? I think I'd force lawyers to speak the truth. Not just in court, which would be bad enough, but in government--since, in the US, 90% of the federal legislature and more than 70% of state legislatures are made up of lawyers.

Of course, that may not be a strictly fair interpretation of a second use, since it applies to a class. I guess I'll take a raincheck, and get back with you on it. :)
