I recently arrived at the Highcliff Castle Ruins, but am stuck and cannot continue any further in the game. I have completed all quests in high cliff, with the exception of one. the lizardfolk, Slaan. When i first encountered him, the dialogue display did not show. i cannot speak with him and i cannot attack him. what can i do to get past this area???

-all undead are killed within the castle
-Slaan's only words when conversation is attempted:
"Slaan fight with you, warmblood. Slaan not want to talk" or
"Must not waste time. hury, help Slaan's calnsmen"

Revert to an earlier save and go at it again. It pays to save, and often.

I can't revert to any saved points far enough back to be able to re-start that area.

You might have to restart the game then. This time make a named save every hour of gameplay so that an hour is the maximum time you can lose. This applies to any rpg video game.

(Named) Saving each time you do an Area Transfer (such as from West Harbor to the Willow Inn) with about 2-3 different locations would help.

you can restart and start saving more
