So I started NWN 2 mask of the betrayer. However, soon after starting the game, I noticed when leveling, I couldn't see my skills. Even in the charactersheet window I can't see them, while all the other things in the game work fine. I've installed the hotfix, updated the game to the fullest... How the h**l can I fix this?

Anyway, since this is apperantly a common bug, I'll try to give the solution I found on other Forums. Apperently, the bug is there because I don't have patch 1.1. This is because my update can't connect to the Obsidian Update server. I've seen 2 sollutions for this problem.

There are the 2 options: 1 is to replace a certain file in your NWN2 map OR instal the offline patch-updater.

HOWEVER, while there are many who can now play NWN2 without this bug, there are others, among me, who have a corrupted Actors file. This means the patch updater doesn't replace my patch file because it doesn't recognizes it. How to solve this??? Well I guess you could replace this file with a uncorrupted file from a previous patch. However, there is so far nobody on that forum who posted a file Actor that is uncorrupted.

Is there a way to save your savegame (separately)? Then you uninstall the game. Your disc shouldn't be corrupted. If it is then ask Atari to exchange your disc. Then install a correct patch that is not corrupted.
