An imaginary spot to relax

No, not here, though you're welcome to do so if you don't litter the place with beer cans. I mean, do you have a place you've created in your mind (which I don't find imaginary, BTW, but some people do) to go for relaxation and quiet, after the rest of the world has shot itself in the head and expired noisily all around you?

I have a few such images. One is of a vast pine forest with trees as large as those huge-ass redwoods (that's their genus, of course) which dwarf everything in site. It's cool, and pleasant, without insects, nearing sunset. I sit on a bed of aromatic pine needles. Life is good. :)

And yours...?

A cozy, warm, empty beach in the early part of September, with a warm breeze and no seaweed in the water, and girls, lots and lots of girls! :)

I do have one actually, nice question :)

It is a garden on top of a cliff that has steps down to a beach. It is the perfect frission :)

I have to say it depends. I have one or two I use reguarly. One is lying on my back on a sand dune/crystal clear seawater looking at the cloudy/clear sky. I also like to imagine the arctic.

In a cabin, in the woods, in the mountains, in winter, with a fire blazing in the fireplace and cuddled up with __________. :o I currently don't have someone to fill that blank, though, so I modify it slightly. What I do is get out my book and start reading, imagining that I am in a cabin, in the woods, in the mountains, in winter, without a fire blazing and sitting their reading my book imagining that I'm the main character in the book. :)

a deep forest at night, clear sky, me in a big watchtower (with a PC and internet connection :D ) high above the trees, animal background sounds (owls and such), fresh but not cold wind coming through the window and a warm fireplace. i wonder if i can find a place like that... :D

Cabin in the Rockey Mountians, raising wolves. ;) I think, raising mountain lions would be nice also. :D

A traditional Inuit kayak, going silently through the water between the huge ice bergs in the Disko Bay in West Greenland. The smell of ice and cold, green water.

For me, a nice tropical island all by myself, so I could live naturally as 'God intended'.

Except for the occasional trips off the island to steal DP's moutain lions of course :)
