I was always more of a man for the Lone Wolf series myself. I think FF have a few new iPhone apps out these days though? Wouldn't mind giving them a try.

The lone wolf series is just begging for a free-roaming action rpg ala gothic in my opinion. The world has fleshed out so much the game would pretty much make itself.
