Factions, Join or not? *SPOILERS (maybe)

Post by sonny »

Just finished talking to a guy named Emoric in the Gathering Dust Bar and got the opportunity during the conversation to ask to join the Dustmen. I ask to join, but later in the conversation (after wandering if that was a mistake) I told him that had no desire to join, but I believe what they believe. After some more conversation he sent me to see Norochj for testing.

After reading the game manual, I can assume that there is more then one faction to join.

I'm now wandering if I made a mistake.:speech:
I plan on staying a fighter. Do I want to join this faction?
I have a saved game before entering the bar.

Thanks :)
They turned me loose from the nervous hospital. Said I was well.

They don't really offer a lot of advantages. I usually join up to get some XP and buy a few things and then leave again.

So yeah, there's your answer: you can leave. Just talk to Emoric after joining and you can tell him you want to leave, and you'll be unDustmenned. There's not a lot of factions to pick out of, but I prefer one of the one's you'll meet up later.

My advice: just go along with it, join up. You can always leave later.

One important fact to remember: any weapons you buy from a faction will be unusable if you leave that faction.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

only if you unequip them after leaving the faction :)
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.
