DD: Nericon's Garden. Can't enter.

I got the key from that merchant. I can speak to the 3 followers outside the garden, and tell them that I have it. But they tell me not to give it to them, but open the gate myself. When I try to open the gate it says "This door is closed".

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have thrown away the key. And I'm pretty sure I still have it in my inventory because, like I said, I can tell the followers I have it.

What to do?

Several things makes my game crash. Equipping rings, exiting the dwarf kings throne room, winning the underground bar fight. Are these things that were suppost to be fixed in the newest version?

To tell the truth, I only encountered some of the problems you name in the very first release. My suggestion? Head over to the developers' website. They have a tech forum, and it sounds like you really need to talk to them.

Well, I've so far managed to get through the game, but now I've encountered a bug that keeps me from progressing.

Spoilers below:
Spoiler
After the ritual to make the marked one into the divine one, and they all get killed, I end up outside the council of seven. Outside, in the blackness and can't move. Nothing happens.
End spoilers

Help me :(

edit: I've heard it's because you need the game CDs. My friend has them, he borrowed them like 4 years ago >< Is there another way to get past this?

No. You need the CDs for that. Better get back to your friend.

Fable's pretty darn good checking this forum and he often posts well before I come back here and see a new thread. And most of the time, I may not be able to answer due to how long it has been since I played. Most people have moved on to other games, but sometimes there are people who have not tried this game out.
