Yup, always leave it to a dwarf to craft a nifty plan. ;)

Yep. :) He's the leader/strategist of the group, so it stands to reason he'd come up with a cunning plan every now and again.

I *knew* Castor was involved in a plan! And I *knew* it wasn't a plan created by Castor, because he has barely enough brains to secure a draw at checkers with a raccoon. A very young raccoon, at that.

And yes, I know all! I even knew before you started reading this post, that you wouldn't believe my claim! Image

And I knew you did! Image

Parenthetically, did you ever see an old SCTV skit for an upcoming tv show called Nostradamus, with Dave Thomas in the title role?

Nostradamus' Dad: Nostradamus, you're a smug idiot!

Nostradamus: (smirking) I knew you were going to say that.

Nostradamus' Dad: Why, you... (hits Nostradamus)

Nostradamus: I knew you were going to do that.

...And so it goes. As I recall, the announcer doing the over-voicing states at the end that the show's been cancelled before it even aired--followed of course, by Thomas' observation that he knew that was going to happen. :D

LOL Image Can't say I've seen that particular SCTV bit. But I do remember the time they did a spoof of Lorne Greene telling dirty limericks. I wish I could remember how they went... :D

Durnkrag is having one of those "A-Team" moments again, isn't he? ;)

Actually I think it had something to do with a farmer boy down by the woodshed.

He loves it when a plan comes together. :D

Well, we all can't trust them fey folk to hatch a cunning plan, correct?

In the words of the most famous dwarf to this day, "Never trust an elf!" :p

That is, of course, unless that elf turns out to be Drizzt Do'Urden. :o

*sitting down, red-faced and looking ready to burst into a giant fit of laughter* OMG... Kayless, you're killing me. :D

BTW, why the change in aligment for Thaddeus Leoncourt. I though Lawful Evil fit him the most naturally.

We aim to please. :) That's why I'm giving out free copies of Durngrim's book. :D

I reconsidered. I think Chaotic Neutral fits his somewhat unconventional and erratic personality better than Lawful Evil.

I like the pithy dialog in this one. A couple of really amusing portraits, too. I'm especially fond of Remus's frustrated pout in the center right panel, after Teagan makes it clear Castor isn't for lunch. :D

"Who would have guessed that my hubris would have dire karmic repercussions?" -Castor

That's my favorite line of this issue. I mean, when was the last time a character like Castor didn't get bitten in the ass for being c0cky? He should really pay more attention to the story he's in. :D

Random thoughts: I love doing facial expressions. ;) :D I hate doing backgrounds. :(

Fun Fact(s): Seeing as the current story takes place in Baldur's Gate I based the dock on pics from the game (though aside from the crane thingy it's kind of hard to tell). The pirate girl in the background is a consolation gift for DCI fans that wanted Teagan's new outfit to be pirate themed.

Omg, I must have been playing that game tooo much. I actually recognized the crane... scary :o

Random Thought: I wonder where arudin is... each time we've seen ganelon so far arudin has not been far away... has he maybe memorized an invisibility spell last night??? just musing....

Well, that would have been a good outfit for Teagan, but I like the one she has on on your home page better. ;) More Drow-ish.

I remember the docks in BG as being filled with complicated, narrow stairways and silly drunken sailors.... :)

It's not like he's Ganelon's shadow (although it would explain his absence). How's that for ambiguity! :D

And it shows off more of her legs than a pirate outfit would. ;)

Sorry, no narrow stairways on the dock (last time I played the game anyway) but there were druken sailors a'plenty. They must be at sea at the time the last issue takes place.

Nothing serious (no bones protruding or anything like that) but it's still pretty painful to draw (I'm actually typing with my left hand). Hopefully it will be better by tomorrow or Sunday and I'll be able to finish this week's issue (I already have some of it done). Sorry about this delay.

:( :( :(
Hope it's nothing serious kayless!
