In the shadows Darkpoet, took aim at the mage. As he released the bow string. He saw the mage jerk, one way and fall over after his arrow hit the mage. Walking back to the group, he went over to Georgi. "Nice shot, I want you to keep using that bow. Is everyone ok?"

"DP... are you okay?" Georgi asked quietly. "I know you left the camp earlier... you wouldn't do anything stupid now, would you? Look, I don't know the full story, but..."

Darkpoet grabbed Georgi's arm, taking her out of earshot of the others.His eyes narrowed. "But what? I had a bad feeling, so I went to investigate. If I have another bad feeling, you want me to bring you along?"

Georgi looked DP in the eye. "I was worried. You could at least have told someone where you were going... Forget it, you don't have to talk to me if you don't want, but I wish you would." She turned away.

"Wait, I'll talk. I probably need to talk to someone." Darkpoet sat down, motioned Georgi to do the same. "What do you want to know? Go ahead and ask me, anything you want."

"Okay, well... why don't you start with what happened in the Drow wars...?"

Darkpoet took a deep breath, looking at Georgi, his eyes went far away and darkened.
"It was a cluster. Bad intel from the beginning, some of question Sir Ryan for his judgements. A lot of good people died, from his decisions. The Drow where getting behind our lines, we didn't know where. So Kramo, Odessa and myself, were sent to find out where. We walked into a trap."
Tears came from Darkpoet's eyes, as memories flooded back. That had been stored down deep inside him.
"Odessa, sshe went down with a arrow in her back. She could move her legs. Kramo, he had six arrows in him, he was still fighting. I took four arrows, on of them in my leg. Odessa was crawling to me, I could almost reach her. A Drow, came up and put a spear in her. The last thing, I remembered was her eyes. Staring at me, pleading for help, eerrrr. Then I blacked out, I don't remember after that. Kramo, he won't even tell me what happened. When I came to, Kramo and I were heroes. I don't even know what I did."
Darkpoet leaned against the rock wall and closed his eyes.

"The only thing I remember is her eyes, pleading for help."

Georgi put her arms round DP, and held him as he sobbed. "I'm so sorry... I know how it feels to lose someone close," she said with a sigh. "We'll get them, DP, don't you worry... you don't have to do it alone..."

Darkpoet felt if a huge weight just fell off his shoulders. Embarrased he wiped his eyes.
"Sorry, I don't usually do that. Don't tell anyone I told you, especially Sir Ryan and Keldorn. That was part of the reason I left the Order."

Georgi smiled. "Don't worry about it, your secret's safe with me. Just don't go getting yourself killed, okay? I... that is, we need you."

"Okay, if I deside to take off. I'll take you with me."
Darkpoet laughed at the look Georgi gave him.

Vivien had heard the discussion and walked over to pat Darkpoet on the arm before looking around. The small 'raid' seemed to have been more accident than anything else, and the only bodies lying about were the Drow.

She gave the mage who'd given her a bit of trouble a small kick with her foot, watching him roll with satisfaction.

Then she turned back to the group watching as the rest of the party put swords away and gathered together again, this time eyeing the darkness looming around with new suspicion.

She punched his playfully. "C'mon, let's get back to the others.... They'll think we're acting like Loner and Kramor..."

"Your right, besides I'm too old and ugly for you anyhow."

"Georgi...I heard that"

Georgi laughed. "Aw, DP, don't underestimate yourself."

"...ehhh... heard what?" *whistles innocently*

Just then, Darius materialized behind Darkpoet. "I thought I told you not to sneak around like that," scowled DP.

"We must hurry," replied the dragon, ignoring him. "We must reach the temple before they do!"

Seeing that everyone was rested, they agreed and were soon on their way through the winding tunnels once again.

Darkpoet took off running ahead of everyone.
"Damn him!" Georgi snarled, as she ran after him. Darkpoet turned the corner, and ran into a squad of Dark Knights. He ran into them with his shoulder down and had three of them dead before the others caught up.

Hearing the clash of steel, Georgi drew her sword from its scabbard as she turned the corner, and easily cut down several knights.

"DP, did I just imagine that conversation?"

As they reached the corner, Kramor could hear the fighting. As he turned, he went in with all fury, swing his two handed sword. Darkpoet and Kramor fought back to back, glancing a Loner out of the corner of his eye. Georgi and her were fighting back to back, then the others got there. The it went from bad to worse. The Drow came out of nowhere, arrows were flying through the air. He saw Sir Ryan go down with an Arrow in his leg, Loner took one in her side. Georgi, took out her bow and started to fire back. Dp, started to fire his bow, Dragon wench, belching fire. Darius appeared and was taking the startled Drow out. Kramor, took an arrow in the side, while pulling Loner out of range.
