Georgi looked round the kitchen. "You know, I'm not feeling that hungry... There's no point in repeating all our stories, why don't we wait for Loner and Kramor? I'm going to go sit in the rooftop garden for a bit, give me a call when they arrive..." She drifted upstairs, looking rather pensive.

Loner and Kramor, meanwhile, were just exiting the ruins

When they got close to the outside, Loner looked out. The light at this time of day was soft and she could see. She took a deep breath, drinking in the beauty of the world. Then she turned to Kramor, and smiled. He picked her up and carried her outside. Then he set her down, and they started back toward the Keep, whispering every once in a while, and giggling

Georgi found a secluded spot in the rooftop garden, and sat down, contemplating the recent events. Stretching out lazily, she stared up at the clouds gathering oppressively in the sky. The heat was stifling. She reached back and tied her hair up. There must be a storm coming, she thought. She examined her locket yet again, still barely able to believe what her mind was telling her. But there was no escaping it, the woman pictured was the same woman whose portrait had hung amongst the many on the walls of her family keep, before it was destroyed...
The thought reminded her of Thantor, who had listened so patiently to her story, and what Mielikki had shown her. She laughed out loud, wondering how she could have been so blind, not to realise that behind his serious exterior was such a passionate soul...
Her reverie was interrupted by the faint strains of music drifting up from elsewhere in the keep. She c0cked her head, listening assiduously. The melody was at once seductive and impassioned, awakening something deep within her soul. She got up and stalked off to locate the source of the music.

Georgi found herself outside Thantor's door, the music emanating from within. An inquisitive smile playing about her lips, she knocked on the door. Hearing a noise within, she waited a moment, then knocked again slightly louder.
This time Thantor answered the door, and to her surprise she found him shirtless, his hair loose around his shoulders. Her eyes very deliberately followed a bead of sweat as it trickled down over his chest. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I? I heard your music from the roof..." She raised her eyes back to meet his.
"No, no, I was just..." his gaze flicked away from hers for a moment, "dancing," he finished, looking a little uncomfortable.
"Dancing?" The thought of Thantor dancing two days ago would have been humorous, but she now found herself intrigued. She raised an eyebrow tantalizingly. "Do you mind if I come in?"

Thantor was completely confused by Georgi's engaging manner. Why would she come if she had seen his childhood, seen what he was like before Meilikki had found him? There was a magnetic quality to her energy, almost like... but that was imposs... Suddenly, a light went on in Thantor's mind and the pieces began to fall together.
"Please." He stepped back, allowing her to brush past him, her scent lingering in the air. She stole around the room, enchanted by the candlelight.. There was music even though no one was playing. "How is it that there is music playing?" she asked.
"It's from a psicrystal," he answered, pointing to it on the wooden bureau in the corner.
"Like the one you used in the ritual?"
"Similar. This one is tuned to music. They have the ability to retain what they are exposed to, not unlike a scroll."
Georgi noticed a guitar that lay abandoned on the bed. She gestured towards it. "Will you play something for me?"
"Of course." Thantor touched the psicrystal and vibrant strands of music began to fill the room. As he reached for the guitar, Georgi wandered over to the open window. A bolt of lightning flashed in the distance, followed by a crash of thunder. She turned back to him. "There's a storm brewing." He nodded and began to play as she curled up on the bed, watching him intently. He was standing in the middle of the room, unmoving. The song was a sinewy, gypsy melody. After a time, he began to move, first from the hips. He moved slowly, languidly, to the music. The insistent, vivacious rhythm was infectious and soon Georgi was keeping time with her foot, smiling. At times, he would tap his heels on the floor to accentuate the backbeat, the vibration echoing off the walls. He reminded her of something proud and wild. He was flirting with her, tempting her, daring her to join him.

Allowing her vest to fall from her shoulders, she rose from the bed. Thantor's eyes swept the curve of her body and the fullness of her lips, as she reached up to release her hair, allowing it to cascade carelessly down her back. The candles picked up the scarlet highlights in her hair as she moved, a lithe, languorous feline. As their eyes met, she ran her hands down her body, tempting him, inviting him, enjoying the fierce hunger she saw before her. Sporadically, he would catch a tantalizing flash of her thigh, as her skirt whirled and floated. His fingers fretted over the guitar, goading her movements. Laughing, she refused to surrender, tormenting him, daring him to lead her deeper into the labyrinthine twists and turns of the music.
Always he would watch her, as if incapable of satiating an intense fascination, as if she were the ultimate mystery within the many universes. Together they began to explore a new realm, a realm of suspense and watchfulness unfolding in a glistening valley of spices. They moved through all the animal forms, prancing, crouching, floating, stalking. Guided by instinct alone, sinew against sinew, blood and bone, the reverberating tang of the guitar like a whip.
Unable to tolerate the distance between them, he gently tossed the guitar onto the bed. She wanted to feel his hands on her, claiming her, possessing her. But he never touched her except to brush against her, catlike and playful. His scent reminded her of the forest, of arcadia bushes and knotty pine. As she moved against his golden-brown flesh, he would alternatively rouse her, then deprive her, as if breaking her to a will that was not his, not hers, but theirs. She would close her eyes in order to drift in the liquid cadence and each time she opened them he was looking at her, drinking her in. The sinuous music and the rawness of Thantor's barely restrained passion became as twin bonfires, with Georgi slowly melting between them, the heat and moist surrendering to the temptuous intoxication. At times the longing for release would almost begin to overwhelm her and he would slow, give her space, almost fade into the music. Then it would begin again...

The reflecting pools that were her eyes became so feverish, so incendiary, that he felt that with her eyes alone she was licking him all over like a dark flame, devouring him, offering him a pleasure he had never known. Her offering transported him and he felt his body arching as he moved against her, then away, then against her once more. Inhibitions fell from her like veils, her heated blood evaporating reticence and discretion to create a steamy pool of seduction and desire. She was a tempest of the erotic, undulating moments of shadow and flesh, curling around his body, both engulfing his movements and celebrating them. Her body smelled like the awakening sunset, her hair like zanzibar, her skin like cinnamon. She slid her hands down his thighs, caressing him. It was as if she burned him, the way he quivered under her touch.
Melded by their motion, the music, and the mystery that had drawn them together, their two bodies shared one pulse, ebbing and flowing through each crescendo. She slipped her thigh between his and looked up into his smoldering eyes, offering herself. He pulled her in to him, her breasts brushing against his chest. She could almost taste him, like the sea, in her mouth. She had never seen a man so abandoned, so oblivious of everything but the desire to take and be taken. They found a rhythm that suited them and followed recklessly. Thantor balanced on the knife-edge between the fluid excitement flowing through the whole of his body and the need for the next step, the next thrust, the next parry. As with all things, they took the warrior's portion, seizing each moment as if it were their last, sweltering on the burning spear of life that melded joy and pain into a defiant blaze against the void. Dancing on the edge of moans... going... go...

Far away Georgi heard a knock on the door and Thantor's voice saying they would be there in a moment.
"How are you possible?" Thantor asked, voice husky, eyes ablaze.
"How are you?" she whispered.

OOC: I edited this because I didn't if Jennabard was up and about.
Nippy came bounding up the stairs, wondering at all the strange events that had been happening lately. It made him somewhat restless, however, that there was not a defined enemy that they could challenge. He could hear music as he came up to Thantor's room, and through the partially open door, he could see that Georgi and Thantor were dancing. Mmmm, thought Nippy, maybe they can show me a few steps after the meeting. He knocked politely on the door, then pushed it open. "There is meeting…," he began, then quickly realized that this was not just any dance. Cringingly slightly, he began to softly back out of the room. "Downstairs……take your time..." Without looking at him, Thantor told him that they would be there in a few minutes. Reaching the sanctuary of the hallway, Nippy collected himself and slowly a wide grin spread across his face. By the time he reached the others, he was still smiling. Vivien was the first to notice. "What has put you in such a good mood, Nippy?" she asked, curious. Nippy smiled even more. "Just a thought. Thantor and Georgi will be here in a minute," he said, settling down in a chair across the from the entrance way. This should be interesting, he thought expectantly.

Kramor and Loner had arrived back, and Loner was in mid sentence when Georgi and Thantor entered the room. The energy hit her like an avalanche. She felt like she had suddenly been lowered into a pool of spiced oil, soothing hands massaging her all over her body. The others stared at her. She quickly turned and instinctively looked at Thantor as he approached the table. It did not take a ki master to feel the energy radiating off of him... and Georgi, she noticed a second later. They were luminous. Thantor caught Loner's eye and smiled, understanding immediately what was happening. "What, no food?" Thantor exclaimed, taking the attention off of Loner, who at this point was having a hard time standing. By this time, everyone was aware of a new vibration in the room, especially Kramor, who was looking from Loner, to Thantor, to Georgi. "I'll go whip something up. Does anyone need anything while I'm in the kitchen? Loner?", Thantor asked directly, eyes twinkling.
Georgi walked over and put her arm around Gwalchmai's shoulder in a friendly way. "Ok, so fill me in on what I missed." Gwalchmai suddenly became very aware of the sensation of his clothes against his body and the feeling of Georgi's skin against his neck. Shaking his head, he collected himself and began to summarize recent events as Thantor returned with a fondue tray he had prepared earlier. It was laden with meat and fruits, twin bowls of dip, one chocolate and one cheese, and an assortment of fondue forks. Catching Loner's inquisitive look, Thantor winked at her.

Loner merely stood there, trying to breathe. She wasn't succeeding very well at all, however. Stunned was not the word. She was completely oblivious to Kramor's question and when she looked at Thantor, and saw him
winking...She had never seen him wink. Not ever. Her face turned scarlet, she tried to speak and failed miserably, and turned and slowly walked from the room, exerting all her energy in an effort not to fall down.

Noticing the confusion and concern on Kramor's face, Thantor went over to him and said, "I'm wondering if it was the fondue -- pretty strong odor on the cheese dip. You may want to check on her."

Dragon Wench sank into a nearby cusheon in bewilderment; it had been an exhausting and emotional day. Her thoughts drifted idly to her encounter with Jerren that morning. Somehow it had resolved much of the torment that she had lived with for too long; their ardour had possessed a sense of finality, and somehow this seemed right. Despite her anger at Gwalcnmai for restoring her so quickly

(although she had attempted to disguise the cause of that sentiment), Dragon Wench felt grateful to be alive for the first time in ten years. It occurred to her that she should probably thank him for reviving her before having attended to his own wounds.
Looking over at Thantor and Georgi, she smiled. Their evident happiness bathed the entire room in a healing glow. Absently she rubbed the spot where the Shadow Master had hit her with the spell and nibbled on some food. The warmth of the room, dinner, and a vague feeling of contentment at being with friends made her feel drowsy. Since she did not want to go to sleep, she drifted over to the kitchen and fired up the espresso maker, asking on her way if anyone else required coffee. (I'm sure that's breaking AD&D, but I imagine jacuzzis do too

)

"Sure, I'll take a cup," answered Thantor. "Especially if Gwalchmai is giving a presentation," he added, smiling at him in a good natured way.

There was little for Nippy to do. Georgi and Thantor were getting a little closer. Kramor and Loner were happy, Dragon Wench was beginning to recover as was Gwalchmai. Vivien and Jennabard were also happy and present with them.
Nippy decided to go into meditation, he needed to speak with Hitomi, his grand master.
Entering the dream state he called to Hitomi subconciously.
"What is it my Son," said Hitomi
"I wish to master more of the Sunfire, I want to become more powerful than the ancients, I wish to help the Dark Flames destroy the shadow master!"
"I can teach you this but you need to come here, you need to come to Kara-Tur to train with me."
"I shall be there as soon as possible then master, I will see you soon."
Nippy spoke to Jerren quickly again,
"Is this the right choice Jerren? Tell me, please."
"It is not my choice, it is your own, they only thing I can warn you against is that the shadow master will try to reach you and corrupt you when you are seperate. To stop this I give you this ring. It is a Ring of the Phoenix. It will summon the Sunfire spirit animal, a phoenix. It will help protect you if you feed it the light from your soul."
"I thank you brother, you have given me so much and I can do nothing in return."
"There is something you can do brother, you can help Dragon Wench and the Flames by destroying the shadow master when the time comes."
"I will, I promise that to you. Farewell!"
Nippy exited his state of dream, he had work to do.
He readied a fast stallion an gathered rations, he also gathered some money from his personal store for the boat crossing to Kara-Tur.
He left a note to the rest of the Flames explaining his absence but not going into any details. No one could see the training who did not have the ancient blood, they would be harmed unnecessarily.
He gathered his things making sure that he had his amulet and his ring and then he departed for Kara-Tur not without casting a blessing and a ward of protection over the keep. If any were to be harmed they would have to answer to a very, very angry man with two very sharp blades.
Meanwhile the shadow master was watching things progress. He watched Georgi and Thantor's dance and he thought that he could target them for further attacks of the mind.
He then focused on Nippy, the little brat caused more problems than ancticipated. He tried to break into his dreams but a wall of bright fire blocked his path. He lurked, waiting for him to exit. When Nippy finally broke from his trance he began to gather his gear, the shadow master cackled maniacally.
The shadow master watched him ride off into the sunset. However the shadow master failed to notice the ring that throbbed with power...

Loner made her precarious way through the Keep. Again she was having a hard time seeing, but for quite a different reason. She ended up in a room somewhere and fell onto the nearest ottoman she approached. She sat there, still stunned, her jaw hanging slightly open, her head shaking slowly back and forth, involuntarily. Then a smile crept to her face. Then she started to shake, and from deep inside, a great roaring merry laugh bellowed out into the room, echoing into the corridor. She fell over with laughter, till tears actually formed in her eyes.
Kramor, taking Thantor's suggestion, came into the room. He smiled a little cautiously and approached the hysterical Loner. "Hey," he said, laying a hand on her shoulder. "Are you all right?"
It took her a moment to respond. "Of course I'm all right," she replied. "How could I not be all right?" Which sent her again into a fit of hilarity. When it subsided she went on: "It's wonderful, isn't it?"
Kramor nodded, starting to laugh himself.
"Everything is getting so......interesting," Loner added, and burst into consuming laughter once again.

Not having noticed any difference in the air, Vivien smiled as Thantor and Georgi returned, and wondered why Loner was having troubles. She then went to sit innocently in the sunlight, as was her custom.
