No. But you are rapidly reducing my useable vocabulary in the oddest ways :o

And I didn't even mention birds or chicks...

Actually I was thinking of a site like:
HOOTERS!
Naughty birds and cute chicks.
We put owl back into foul!

You didn't need to. I made the mistake of looking, you see.

On the other hand it is educational. I'll end up well informed. But mute :p

There are olympics this year? I didn't know.

Where is this being held?

Turin. The winter olympics are a bit the ugly little stepsister of the summer olympics. Less sports, less countries and less coverage. And held intermittently with the summer olympics (so right in the even year between two of them).

Oh. I have heard of the winter olympics, of course. But I didn't know they were in between. You are right about less coverage. I missed this completely. I wonder if they could treat the summer olympics the same way? That would be good :D

I enjoy most of the Olympics. I can't stand watching the x-country skiing, it takes much too long IMO. Same with curling... But I do like watching the hockey, and sometimes the speedskating. Skeleton is cool to watch too.

Usually during the summer Olympics I mostly just watch the diving and gymnastics.

What is skeleton?

by Oscuro_Sol
Or skelton... Lol... I dunno what the spelling is or how to pronounce it. :o

But it's when people go down this ice tunnel thing on a board, head first, and they try to make the fastest time.

At least the worldcup (this summer) is not the whole day through. One match, maximum two a day.

Thanks OS. I understand. They are all mad :D
