But when guns are forbidden, they'll be a lot harder to acquire. Secondly, they shouldn't only be banned, but possessing them (unless required by duty, as a soldier or policeman) should be punishable by law.

That not only stops the USE of those weapons, but also simply POSSESSING them ...

I've heard some stories about little children and such, who easily got the weapon of an adult (father, uncle), without realising the danger of the 'toy'. There were some casualties in these occurances ... if their possession was forbidden, this would not have happened.

Crimes commited violently (use of weapons like guns) should be punished harder. As a side note I should say I'm AGAINST the death penalty, as this is a punishment that cannot be reversed if a mistake is made - and mistakes have been made in the past.

Well Maurice, I think a better replacement for Death Penalty is have the confict talk to Neeber all day long......perhaps lock the convict with him !

The Correct name of that fella you quote is Chao Chao, and he is one of 3 power broker that try to take control of whole China. it's taken from "Romance of 3 Kingdoms". And sure is a very very good novel with lots of phylosophy to learn. But try not to learn from Chao Chao...his ways are treacherous, if you do you'll end up being hated by most of the people.

All right Maurice give up your computer.See my point.If you let the goverment take your gun do you think they will stop there.As to forbidden them a crimnal is a crimnal.If a cop has a gun a crimnal will too.As people put it ..HIT HIM OVER THE HEAD...now crimnal has gun.I mean drugs are forbidden ,but if you want them you can get.There is no easy answer.As to the children be shoot in school i do think ever gun should be store in a locked box(AL Gore line)But there is no way to enforce this.No easy answers.I believe education is going to be the best answer.Who ever created the gun just didn't know what he/she unleased upon mankind.As to the death penalty i agree mistake are made in the past and will be made in the future.If the gov can spend 1.1 million on one missle they sure can spend the money to house and feed a crimnal.Hell put him to work doing something.All right KidDo1 yes Chao Chao is from RMTK.Who ever translated it got it wrong.And yes he was evil but the people backing him were not.I find it strange they put up with him.

Well that's is because Chao Chao has his persuasive ways that makes people see that his goal is a good one to follow. But some of them follow him because of the intimidation he put on them. BTW have u read the novels yet ?

Not yet.It's hard to find books on it around here.All the translation i got is wrong(Cao Cao)Do you know the name of the books or where i can buy them.

I dunno about the English translations, since i read it in Indonesian translation which luckily come close...but unfortunately some poetic quotes are not translated correctly so i kinda missed that part.
Try contact Amazon.com, hopefully they got some good ones.

To safe the time, it's better that you send email to them asking for "Romance of Three Kingdoms" But to ensure that it is a good one i think you must mention what you require about that book, i.e. the translation thing, etc.

I forget to tell you that i once encounter a page that have RTK translation that you can read online. But the chars are given different names (Mostly using English names). I'll let you know via email if i can dig into this info again.
