First I woild like to say that this is the first chat forum that I have ever registered on. I have monitored (meaning periodically checking on and reading the posts), but the majority of them seem to be too serious, or way too critical (guess which one I am talking about). I chose this one due to the whimsical characters and the varied tactics. After all if you live through the battle its a good tactic, if you die... well if at first you don't succeed, a bigger hammer is what you need . Applause to Weasel and Drakron (and others) for their posts on the "other" site, I had considered joining you but I fear that I would be banned aftter 1 post. That kind of defeats the purpose.
Good job Buck, By the way, have you heard anything new concerning the BGII expansion?
The last I heard is that it is confirmed and that they were looking for info from players.

I just read some of the banter between weasel and this Syl.. person on the Sorcerers board and can offer these observations.
The sorcerer board has a very close niche of of long time posters. This group has a nasty habit of having fun at the expense of others who are posting and not privy to their little games.
Sounds like a Bully and his cronies.
This being known. I have never found any such
shrugging off or belittling of its users, especially new ones, on this site.
Weasel, and others, have made a valiant attempt to bring this situation to light on the other board but, you'll notice the banter on those occasions is usually between the same few users.(The niche group).
I'm sure they feel as if their turf is being violated and have the need to attack anyone who is different or challenges their position.This I understand, but find very sophomoric.

If cyber space were more like nature and real life....such situations could be resolved either by force or vote.
I personally found this Syl.. person to be very full of himself and condescending of others. He would not be able to continue his antics in "the real world" as a bigger dog would come along and change his tune.
On the other hand, I find Buck to be very fair and Maurice also. They also show genuine interest in the game and do not berate those who either just started playing or just love it..
Hey Syl.. take you sour attitude and rub it on someone else. If you have lost interest in the game, buy a new friggin game!!!!
