It was cool, but I would never listen to it just on my own or something...it had to accompany a big burn...Mama's Gun though is a real record. It's a lot more serious whih is nice IMHO...
She was pregnant during the conception of Baduizm, i can't recall exact dates but i think it adds a certain mystical edge to the album :) I don't know, i kind of like Baduizm and did listen to it a lot. Mama's Gun i really appreciate i don't listen to it that much any more i have moved on to other things, but it is good :)
As for seeing a lot of bands in Oxford yeah we do, but I can't really compare as I've never lived or gigged anywhere else  . Much as I dispise the Strokes they did their first UK gig here IIRC and at the time averyone was going crazy. Kate Moss was at the gig :) ...that was crazy umm..anyway loads of cool people come and play at the Zodiac when they're kind of heading around the UK on their 'small intimate for-the-people tours'...ha ha Roni Size is gonna be at the Brookes Student Uni in May!!!!
Nwah ha ha ahaha !!!
I love the small and intimate gigs a lot better than stadium trype, i went to watch Goldfrapp in Bristol (tsk!) that was one of the best experiences of my life; absolutely brilliant :)

Hmm Bristol - I'm going to uni there next year, but I don't have a clue what the music's like there. Anyone from around there can tell me??

Well the Fleece and Firkin is the place to go for the music of Bristol, it is the hot spot, which is quite amusing since it is in the middle of the rough area of town and kind of in a back alley :)

They produced Massive Attack and Tricky amoungst others :)
