Well, i warn you the end is very graphic, but the rest of the film is decent. It is actually made by Wes Craven if i remember correctly.

I think I saw that.

To be honest I don't really remember it much

Except that I think it was probably rubbish
Shocker is 1989, BTW... and the fact it's a Wes Craven film from this period that isn't well-known suggests that it's probably inferior to his other movies...

Oh it is rubbish, don't get me wrong, but how many good horror films can you actually name?
It has Alexander Divfoff in it as well, he is a really impressive bad guy.

Scream
Final Destination
Both above average, I thought.

They are really just over-blown thrillers, i mean Final Destination isn't exactly much of a horror film is it?

It was touted as horror. Ok, first tell me what you define as a horror film, then I'll give you an example of one that is above average...
Edit: And Scream is definitely a slasher flick in the same genre as Wes Craven's movies, albeit more tongue-in-cheek

Tomb Raider was touted as a decnt movie
OK then a horror film is a movie that deals with paranormal events in some way that relate to the human condition. usually the movie creates a back drop of mysticism in some way.
if i didn't categorise them this way then Apocalypse Now could be vcalled a horror film

But by this definition... Sixth Sense is a horror movie. I don't think the events have to be paranormal for a horror movie... non-horror movies are concerned with the paranormal, and there are horror movies that don't involve anything paranormal... just murders, or whatever...
So would you call Seven a horror movie?
Goodnight Sleepy

Don't have nightmares after all this horror movie talk
