Sorry! You're right Rav, it's intelligence. I mixed it up with Spot. :o

Many skills CAN be done without actual skill ranks. Only certain ones can't. Most of the rogue only skills, like disabling traps, opening locks, use magic device, and the Knowledge skills, those are "trained only". There are others, but those are the ones that come to mind.

Is it safe yet?

*creeps out of the corner*

So should I add it onto my character sheet even though I have no Rank points in it? Or is it better to leave it off and just use my Int points?

Heh. I was right. It's hard to contain my glee... :p ;) (< Wow, that seemed so...Ikky to me :D )
Hmm, that's why I said he could just add Int to the die roll, though DJV has no Search skill.
Didn't know that it didn't apply to the trained things though.

@DJV, there's no real need to add it to your sheet, just leave the roll on it's on own I think.

Yeah, I was just thinking that was best, no need to clutter up my character sheet.

I agree. Those sheets are long as they are.. :p
Okay, I think I'm tired to think of something for that chest tonight. :(
I'll probably come up with something for it in the morning, I expect you'll be around then, so you can reply to it then. :)

Goodnight everyone...

Night Rav,
And hello everyone.

I just watched yesterday's American Idol. That lady didn't completely butcher Bohemian Rhapsody.. :D

Night Rav.

@ DJ, I generally leave it off myself, unless I KNOW I'll be using it. I tend to know what I'm able to use and can't. Generally unless you need to do research, or need special training, you're fine to use something without actual skill ranks. :) You can try crafting a sword without training. Chances are it will suck and be bent to hell when you do, although, you may get lucky.

Hello Kitten, Chu didn't kill you off I see. :p
