'Tis going fine. You should come by SYM when it's evening for me(in about 9-10 hours especially), it's even more dead than this. </STRONG>
LOL :D Tell him to come back here and take it like a, ummm, vampire :D

Yeah, I am here around that time occasionally, that's cos all the Americans have just gone to bed and all the Europeans haven't got up yet. ;)

But it will be the middle of their day, they'll mostly be out at work (or uni or whatever ;) )... so it would have to be ones who have internet access at work... :D

Anyway, there are a few ;)

If they're anything like Americans and English, they don't do anything at work anyway, so this would be perfect for them! ;) :p :D

Hi. I have something to say. From my view and I'm sure many others' views, Asian is the preferable term to Oriental. Oriental is an antiquated term, kind of like negro.

Yep, I'm sure there are many people who lurk at work at 11:30pm... :p :D

Anyway, I think I'll be off to bed, goodnight all ;)

Try not to slander me too much while I'm gone... :D

Oh? I was not aware of that, if it is true. Doesn't really matter, though. I was specifying people from the Orient(Japan, China, Korea, etc.). Asian includes India, Russia, Middle East, and anywhere else that is in Asia. Not that those people are not welcome, I was merely being specific. If you don't like that, bite me. ;) :p :D

No thanks, I'd prefer not to bite. Just because it doesn't matter to you doesn't mean it doesn't matter to other people. As a colloquial term as used in the U.S., the word Asian refers to East Asia and Southeast Asia, and does not include Russia or the Middle East. Some people use the word Asian to refer to India; others do not.

That may be, but Oriental specifically refers to the area I was speaking of, while "Asian" is ambiguous. In this case, I prefer to be specific, rather than ambiguous.

Crassus: You should know that most people on this forum appreciate your feelings and will try to be sensitive to them in the future.

*wonders if she could make a weekend trip to Texas and still be able to get back in time for her Public Speaking class Monday*

*curses the fact that she has to give a speech in class on Monday* :(

:( That's not good. I'm sorry. Even my stupid homework (which I curse an awful lot) can't compare to that.

Advice: Don't drink Dr. Pepper beforehand. Sorry. Couldn't resist. :D :p

Considering the hangover I woke up with yesterday morning, I best not drink any Dr. Pepper Sunday night either. Image
