@Mr Sleep - nah, I am waiting for my PC doctor to deliver me a replacement being as this one is only a couple of months old.
When I tried to listen to your link, I automatically got up Windows Media Player (which says powered by Winamp) so I am confused as to why the slider moves as if playing something but no sound.
It is funny, cause I can hear music normally with this card just not anything that uses the hardware buffer in 3d. If I have ambient sound turned on in BG I get white noise...
New card me thinks...
I will check out your link though... I am sure it is my type of thang!

@Ysh you might try turning up your WAV volume in volume control, also check that you have all the relevant columes turned up.
Return to Innocence Lost, is excellent but quite shocking, it tells a true story of hate breeding hate. Worth listening to, but be warned.

@Veh: thats all well and good, but incidently, I already of a Native name. As my dad has worked with Native groups around Canada, when I was born, the current Grand cheif of Canada, Tom Burset, gave me an Indian name. I think it was Spirt Walker, or something like that... I'll have to ask why...

Spirts are the almighty, intoxicating beings that leave you staggering, slurring, and are mostly worshiped on your knees at the base of a toilet bowl......Ah, beautiful, ain't it?

That's what I think of when people mention 'Spirit'. Glad I'm not the only one!
When they say 'Spirits' on the other hand, one should be wary of things that go bump in the night!
