Or perhaps we should have a female PC instead? I liked Milla Jovovich in the Fifth Element, or maybe Franka Potente from Run Lola Run.

Mmmm Aragorn works well for me.. *drool* :o ;)

Female protagonists...... I like those ideas too  I would also suggest, my memory fails me in terms of names, but how about the woman who starred in the recent Bond movie? Eye candy for the guys :D Okay, maybe not the most complex character, but the adventure component and sex appeal works well :D

 Why are the realms in LOTR populated by people who don't shave or comb their hair? Except the elves and a few pampered women.....

Whoever is cast will have to work well with Fas as Anomen, remember.... :p

lol! but Aragorn has that rugged, rough-around-the-edges thing happening ! :D It is part of the appeal, since he does not come across as a pretty boy... unlike certain elves that come to mind :p

Besides, it's a touch of realism.. I mean this stuff is very loosely based on medieval times or something... and we all know that running around saving the world does not allow time for neatly brushed hair and well-trimmed beards. Unless you are an overly fastidious elf! :p ;)

Lol! well, I'm sure Fas would have no objections to any of the above-mentioned co-stars ! :D

Yoshimo = der Moench

He-e-e-e-e-e-ey wait a minute! I ain't no traitor! And - before you say it - no, Weasel does not have some kind of curse on me, forcing me to do his bidding.

I don't think.

Hmm... a whining, bimbo elf who can't get off the fact she lost her wings and is also afraid of the dark, OR a genious, Miniature Giant Space Hamster with more intellect than his human counterpart. Hmmm.... TOugh choice. :D

Maybe you're Officer Vai. After all, BS loves women who can be authorative ;) :D

Does that mean he'll be continually showing up with countless bandit scalps as well?

AC: I know it will be a difficult part for you, but I think you'll nail the part. Even though Aerie is universally hated by the members of this board, I think on screen she will turn into one of the more meaty roles. She is a winsome, beautiful blond elf who is coming to terms with a major change in her life. Also remember, if the PC is a male, she'll get a love scene with him (could be Tom Cruise, eh? :D ) and she is guaranteed a hot, romantic romance with the teifling Ode to a Grasshopper. ;) I think you'll enjoy yourself. The camera will certainly be giving Aerie plenty of time with lots of those emotional, introspective shots. :)

Der Moench: Yoshimo is only a reluctant traitor, and I think that if he had his druthers he would be quite reclusive, happy to be sitting in the Copper Coronet drinking plenty of beer (sound familiar?). He is a very useful character to the PC early in the game (think: setting traps  ) and he is also one of the most sympathetic and enjoyable characters - which makes his ultimate betrayal and death so much more shocking and moving. Yes, I think this is the part for you! :D

Er, wouldn't you rather be the red dragon in BG2? What was his name? "Nightmare"? No, that wasn't it..... :p

Me? Coran?

...a SNEAKY chaotic good elven thief?

...not bad I guess  ...

...provided I still get to wear my lampshade. :p :D

Well, if only Mazzy was a female I'd be good for that part... a quasi-Paladin hobbit... ;) Too bad there's no such thing as a kender in Faerun. :(

I can be yan, because her talks a lot, like i used to when i was younger. I'm not that young now, I left for a while, and now I'm back. By post per day counts has gone down, but I'm alot more intelegable, yes? It was back then that I did lots of cool stuff, like start a pub that got blown up by weasel, dig to china, and i flamed waverly. What were we talking about?

Craig, you would be a good fit for a vicious kobold commando.

Well, the idea is interesting, and some fits well (Weasel being Tiax and Gruntboy & Waverly being a pair are particularly appealing :D ), but I'm not particularly fond of the idea to be protected by BS. He's either drunk or talking to Boo, and even if not, he digs tunnels all over the place for whatever the reason.

Dottie has temporarily moved and has no internet for a while, but I am sure he'd love the part as Edwin - and Edweena :D

Waverly is perfect as Irenicus I think!

As for me, I unfortunately don't remember who Safana is, but it probably matters little since I'm a lousy actress anyway ;)

Milla Jovovich is pretty but a lousy actress - I'd go for Franka Potente any day, she is marvellous and she can really play strong, fighting people who take things in their own hands to change their destiny.

Well, you'd need some way to gain the attention of the lucrative male audience. However naturally all female SYMers are gifted with acting skills as they are beautiful ;) So a female protagonist wouldn't bother me, provided that Xan gets his own spin-off television series. :D
