Hi CE. No, it hasn't been pleasant for all concerned and was not something I wanted to be involved in during my last week!
Hm, let's hope no unpleasant consequences will follow for you. So, are you starting your new job Friday, or are you going to have a holiday or something between your jobs?

Happy birthday, Mr Sleep. *More*
Guinness (
is good for you, and since its quality and taste is inversely proportionate to your distance to Dublin you should be well off).

To be frank, they're gutted. Its a small and fragile deparment and they've had to pull some emergency measures to shore things up. They asked what they could do to make me stay and I said "nothing".
I think it would be the same if i left my job, it would take them a while to recover. That must have taken some guts.
The recent events involving CD's (last thing I wanted to deal with) show the writing is really on the wall. I think some people may be glad to see me go, until they realise how much I achieved there. Still, looks like a lot are turning out for drinks tomorrow (tube strike thursday) so should be fun.
Do you think we will end up with any more pictures of Grunt's exploits?
@Silur, cheers mate, i have been drinking some weird foreign import my boss got me...strange indeed *hic* Also my bosses wife got me some Guinness so funnily enough you were right on point
When I first encountered Sleep here long ago, I couldn't decide whether he was quite young or older than Fable
You never know i might still be older than fable just with a
lot of corrective surgery

Why does everyone have to have their birthday when I'm away for a week?
Anyway, a belatedly happy birthday, Sleepo.

I did, actually. I'll post about it tomorrow, when I've caught up on the week's events and it's not almost 2am.
