Well I wish I could :) I'm not trying to boast about my bike but their bikes sometimes are just a low CC class (80cc - 100cc) and the muffler was cut using welding torch so it "roars" :o U can imagine the noise and how annoying it was when they drive thru in the middle of the nite

Pedestrians ? LOL it reminds me of a PC game where you drive a car and bumping pedestrians can give you huge points :D :D

And you don't need to boast about the Ninja - she speaks for herself ;)

No it isn't, it is bad drivers that put insurance up ;) :D Plus, there is nothing wrong with an appreciation of bass ;)

Ok - so explain why red and black cars are more expensive to insure...and especially those that carry and XR2 or XR3 badge! :D (not that I have ever tried to insure such a vehicle ;) )

Re appreciation of bass - there is appreciation - and overkill ;)

Isecond sleep on the bass issue. Stopped at some traffic lights after school was a bloke with such mean bass coming out of his car that I could only hear the top end. The low end I could just feel in my chest. :D :D

PS - and I think it's the Capri you're thinking of. ;) Furry dice...*shudders*

LOL! :D

I know what I am thinking of - I am old enough to remember the Capri ;) the Capri was a different kettle of fish - you would not afford to insure it at 19 ;)

Because the insurance companies have to look for a scapegoat and unfortunately it is the younger driver. It is also the fault of people who claim for unecessary damage to their car, like little scratches on the bodywork. Also since cars are made so poorly to low production values now-a-days then they damage much easier making more expensive.....yadda yadda yadda, i assure you i could carry on if required :)
Re appreciation of bass - there is appreciation - and overkill ;)
There are some sound systems that will actually boil one's blood they are so heavy ;) However i nice 300W never hurt anyone :)

Interesting how a thread on ethnic minorities has turned into a discussion on insurance and car stereos. SYM is great!

Anyways, I was so glad when I turned 25 and my insurance premiums basically disappeared. :D :)

I can give a reason for the Red Color (Black I can't)

A red car will be spotted by the law quicker. From working in Body shops for 10 years, the cost to insure a red car has always been higher. Cheapest to insure...white followed by black.

Ther cost to paint a red car is the highest as well. The red pigment to mix the paint will on the avg run $75.00 more per gallon. Throw in pearl (Tri coat) and watch the price climb even more.

(All car colors are a combination of colors...even black)

For a good paint, expect to pay between $250.00 to $400.00 dollars per gallon. This will paint a full size truck. Add Clear coat to this (Cost per gallon $110.00 plus activator $30.00) and add 7 to 8 years to the paint job.

Disclaimer the prices listed are from the Southern US (Pensacola, Florida) Labor rate $55.00 per hour frame time, $50.00 per hour body repair time, Painter time $40.00 per hour.

I was gonna say how nice it is that a topic as potentialy explosive as this one was discussed so casualy and calmly.

Now I say how sad it is that all it takes is one post about a game to get everyone sidetracked. :p
