As far as influence goes, I like it to a point. The things you say and do affecting how your companions react to you adds a new level of reallity to the game. However, as I've said before, the whole "instant Jedi" thing is annoying.
Getting back to what kind of characters I'd like to see, I don't think the whole party should be very big, but it should be diverse. I want to see a rag tag lot, thrown together by circumstance, like in kotor 2, but with a few less people.
Aside from the main character, who"s sex AND SPECIES should be up to the player, there should be a :
soilder: a straight laced Carth style character, could be human or alien

grey jedi: younger this time but still with a troubled past, human or alien

scounderl: a female this time, seductive, crafty, NOT a love interest for the main character, I'd go with a twilek for this one

jedi master: obligatory wise, older, talks to much character, think Kriea, Bastilla hybrid, human or alien, maybe yoda race

adventurer: fly by the seat of your pants thrill seeker, human or alien

t3m4 and maybe hk47
Fewer characters means their stories can be more detailed and they can interact with each other more.

If you put it like that i like force influence but that is not exactly how force influence was. By the end of the game everyone that could be jedi was. I think they should mix the characters reactions for every situation, some agree with the players choice and others disagree with the choice.

Back to the topic, like i said previously i'd really enjoy a Fett as a character. The fearless and mercyless bounty hunter could be a DS character (going along with the idea above).

yoda rulezz! put a ancsestor of yoda in kotor III plzplzplz as NPC or PC

Gonig with my idea i think a Yoda would be calm, wise, etc... (you know how Yoda was) naturally a LS character, but to add a LITTLE originality to the character i think they should make a Yoda the opposite of Yoda Selfish, ruthless,destructive, and all those other fun traits of the sith. Obviously he'd be a DS character.

I would like to see Yoda as part of the people you can get to join your party. I would also like to see Jolee Bendo I think his name was back in action. I would also like to see Mandalore from KOTOR2, to be a darn Jedi. As well as Hanharr as a Jedi. Tho I think that they should keep HK47, hes cool even tho some of us players dont really use him, hes still cool, and a Must have for the KOTOR legacy to continue, hes a must!

a yoda type character would be good, but i doubt there would be yoda himself around during the time period that kotor is set. as for jolee, they probably wouldn't include him as (spoiler so highlight)

i would like to see a male twi'lek grey jedi consular, something like kreia. maybe that one who tells you the jedi code in kotOR I in the jedi enclave. he has left the jedi, but he isn't an evil sith, and he will never be a sith in the game.

As playable races i'd like to see:

Kel Dor
Zabrak
Yoda's race
Vurk
Cerean
Mon Calamari

As for the mentor character i'd like to have a mentor who is extremely aligned with either side because in the past two games your mentor has been gray which means you get the best of both but maybe an extremist would be fun to have with you so u agree with them or rebel

a) HK-47 needs to stay!

b)I got an idea for an Gray Jedi as part of your team. He would be able to use anger and hatred in battle to fuel his powers, but he would be strong enough to control his feelings, so right after the battle he would regain calmness. He would be an mysterious-calm-very smart type of guy. Cunning you could say.

That sounds a lot like Mission Vao... But i see the point, and i agree... There should be more variation in the party... it gets quite boring when all the characters are of the same race... So it could be fun to have some aliens around... i just remembered... Mission had a brother, right...? it could perhaps be interesting to have a person in the party, who were in family with some of the NPC's in kotor1 or 2

I think that when you create your main character you should have the choice of different species not just human that's just boring and mabey what your voice sounds like

There almost no rodians in the kotor series! (Geedo) i think it would be kewl if u could choose the race of ur charac or at least hav a rodian jedi in ur party

intresting... id be cool if you could chose your own party members but it would be super complicated... i guess you could pick 10 races at the begining when your doing your PC... and the computer could just make them up randomly or something... *shrugs* i dunno... i like your idea tho.

hmm... an evil yoda would be weird just because when you see a yoda type creature, your mind automaticly goes to "oh! light side!" so i think a ds yoda guy would be cool and intresting.

i think mira needs to come back just because i love her attitude. it makes me laugh. and atton. yes...

when you ask kreia at the end of the game about the future of your friends... she doesnt know about bao dur and the droids future (if you play LS) so i think that they might be in the III one... if there is one... *keeps fingers crossed*

and maybe mission & zalbaar... i havent decided on that one tho... both have there advandages and disadvantages... *shrugs* meh...

Mira....Atton....they were plastic to me....you know - it's either cause of the way they looked, or the play of actors giving them voice, as it wasn't natural. Same for Handmaiden. Look at Canderous - he played his role good. HK-47 too. Maybe is it because they are evil and seemed more natural to me, I don't know.

I wan't to see an character filled with rage, and he has to be a Fallen Jedi. No, not Dark, not Sith. He would been thinking that there are no other Jedi left, and in hopelesness would fall into his feelings, but not completly give himself to the Dark Side, still trying to be loyal to the Jedi Code. Eitherway, this character would fight with full ferociousness (donno how you write that one), explode with anger when get's hurt, youknowwhatI'msayin'. Maybe some cut-scene with him doing crazy acrobatics and slaying 10 enemies with 3 strikes :mischief:

yea... i wouldnt want handmaiden back. or visas. they were just too... niieve(sp?) but i dunno... i really like the actress that did the maidens voice tho. maybe cause she also did padme, asajj(Sp?) ventress, and shaak ti in the clone wars cartoons. *shrugs* meh... but the character herself... she just seemed... so... not jedi material. same with visas.

What is it with people and destroying T3? I think he is one of the best!!! (aside from HK47) I think T3 and HK should have their own level in the nxt story !!!

T3 must return! or a similar intelligence droid. T3 was very usefull because of it's high skills. I always have kreia and T3 with me in kotOR II

Both T3 and HK-47 play a vital role in both KOTORs so most probably they'll make a comeback in the next game. As for the others, its up to the developers to decide who to bring back and what kind of new people to include.
