I'm sure Jane is very proud of her work in that film.
If not for Barbarella, we may never have heard Duran Duran. The band could have been called....Simon and the Chipmunks????

Oh wait, that's Alvin. ;)

Funny thing is, the original Italian comic book that Barbarella derives from *was* pretty funny--in a rather sexually explicit and over-the-top soap opera-ish fashion. When Fonda's then-husband directed Barbarella, he eliminated most of the humor and sex (though you really couldn't eliminate Fonda).

Trivia time. What madman/scientist in Barbarella gave his name to a rock group of questionable quality?

Aye, if Kirk came to Saturn, I'd run off with Enterprise long before I'd even consider running off with Kirk. ;) :D

Although, Spock was rather stimulating...er...intellectually, of course. ;)

Strange that, considering aliens being, well, aliens, why would they be interested in homo sapiens? I mean, chimps are genetically roughly 1% different from us, but we (well, most of us :p ) don't find them sexually attractive. Why would an alien, which might not even be carbon based want to have any kind of relationship with us?

Well, there are a few(very few) homo sapiens worth considering as potential mates. There are also aliens who are quite insane(Llwoxiana(sp?) Troi, for example, though I must admit, Picard ain't a bad pic compared to some humans. ;) ).

fable,

you misquoted me earlier. The quote you posted from me was C Elegans. I did 'quote' him and respond to his quote with another numbers thing though. If interested, take another look. :)

So now, the Irish Whiskey is just poured for me without my asking. 'course I won't be turnin' you down, I did a tour in Wisconsin some years back; and when someone hands you a drink, no is not acceptable (I loved it there).

Thanks Ysh. It's been pretty quiet so far this mid afternoon - er, evening to you. I've actually been able to get some work done, but it's all over now thanks to good pal Jameson.
