Yeah, I can understand why you don't want people just to answer straightaway. Spoils it for others. That's part of the reason I asked people to post answers in black, so they're still solvable without accidentally finding an answer .
I wasn't going to give people a clue as the game, but I may as well say it (you'd still have to find it in-game). This is one of the few riddles that wasn't in BG , it was in Neverwinter Nights instead.

Okay, let's look at it in a less complicated way: you just have one orange, as 3 - 2 = 1

Anyway, correct answer to the Neverwinter Night/The Hobbit riddle

I know that you guys have not finished your last riddle yet...well, maybe. But Ill put up another anyways.

A man is lying on his bed, terribly wounded after a spar fell on him. The doctor tries to help the now delusional man up, and ask him where there is pain. to which he replies, "Chop a quarter off a boat, and you will find what is broken."

Where is he injured?

Well, it still could be a guess, which is just inmediately the right one. Or are you saying that you never guess and just always *know* the answer?

I did a little bit, though it seems like a good riddle to me. However, if you say it's crappy, the answer probably will be something lousy...
