What do everybody here think about saunas?:laugh:

I had some minor work problems which I had to sort out first thing. But I hand over to someone else in about 10 minutes, so it's all up from here

Mmm.... especially during winter those warm you quite much... and those are also very cleansing and thus healthy...

Oh, and I shouldn't forget the first beer after you get out from sauna

They're very cleansing and warm,a very comfortable enviorment,if one doesn't cook himself.

Yep, depending of the type of the sauna and the person who is in there, the temp can rise as high as around 80'C (yes, my grandfather was used to that kind of temperature when he was in sauna :speech: )

My sauna can go up to 110 c,there is nothing astonishing in a 80 C sauna,I prefer 90-100 C.

Yes, that's true, but it's also dependable of what kind of sauna you are using.
ie. the same temp in electric sauna and wooden sauna can feel totally different...

Well you both clearly like this thing. But Kipi at least likes metal, so that is not necessarily conclusive. I have never been attracted to the idea. I don't like to be too hot or too cold. But I shouldn't judge unless I've tried it I suppose.

Btw, what temperature scale are those figures on? Is it celsius? I just looked up a conversion and I am suprised a person could even survive it, if that is correct

Ah, but you must also know that there are only few finns who do not like sauna
So, basically the fact that I like metal has nothing to with this
