I believe non-SYMians just assume I'm making up names when there's a kobold named Nippy, or a Xvart called Robnark, etc. I've gotten opinions on other boards and DCI seems to be pretty funny to those not in the loop.

The comic was funny at some moments and I also think that it is more original than most comics.

So it was enjoyable although some improvements would be to give character to some of the staid people.

I find the humor in it to be hit or miss. For the most part, it kept me entertained.

It's a fresh spin away from cheap knockoff sprite comics. That's a big plus in it's favor.

All in all, it is a pretty entertaining read.

Well I am part of the nich audience, the comic is on the entertaining side, but try to develop the charecters more. That is really important, other wise you wind up with no more than a bunch of one liners.

A bit tepid, perhaps, but these quotes are from the jaded folks over at Tob Web Comics Forum who see tons of new comics (especially sprites) all the time. Most are snubbed outright. DCI seems to be at least mildly enteraining to most.
