What about the image of people being cut into little pieces, Snoop Dogg?

The messure of evil isnt how peices you cut somone into...

Its how many of said peices you eat afterwards...

So, I was right. Thank you for proving my point.

Don't worry Aubrey, they're only trying to provoke us.
It's just a pose, a pretended role.
Read my new first signature, to know what I think about
this.... ;)
(No offence meant, just trying to put people on the right
path! :D )

Thanks, Littiz. It always feels nice when you are among friends. :)

Please, don't tell me that your signature was exclusively made for gnomethingy!

It would have been a more fitting quote, then
(which isn't the case... )
But my quotes are always about inner strenght
and self-confidence, best to be combined with the pursue
-never entirely successful- of virtue..
You see how evil ones (true or pretended..) are the
real weak in my book ;)

@Snoop Dogg: uncorrect, I would put you all in hell and
then I would pity you for your sufferings :D
Nobody's perfect

Littiz might be a Neutral Good but I'm Chaotic Good.

So, if it was up to me, I would put you in hell, and then watching your suffering emotionless. :D

Good work for immaterial gains, Evil work for material gain.. The only immaterial thing truly evil people desire is power

The villain mentality of risking all to gain all, I love...

Btw.. Yes, Cns rock too

This is far to simplified IMO. What about knowledge, for example? Or eternal life?

He who acts good for receiving eternal life or something in
exchange is the most selfish and evil planner of all!! :o

Ironically I have to agree with gnomethingy, True Goodness
*should be* really "pointless"

This is right... Heros dont fight the Dragon becouse of his tresure, they fight him becouse he is doing something bad and needs to be stoped (Whatever that may be)

Evil has more perspectives than good, becouse virtue, purity selflesness and other such virtues are simplistic yet uninterpretive. And they often work in fold.

Whereas the evil have many choices. Kill the dragon for his gold? for fun? who cares, why not.. Maybe work for him to earn money, maybe (Only for the reall evil badass) Conscript him to your couse.... Maybe leave him, to raze the local town and stir up trouble so you dont have to waste your energy doing it..

Evil is *Fun* Evil is flippant and not wholly binding, the most phycotic villain can be merciful, if he so chooses.. Perhaps to sway somone to his couse ? Parhaps it just suits him at the time.

*Good* Decisions are driven by need and morality
"Its wrong that you burried the guy alive, suffer the consequences"
"This guy is going to kill me, I need to kill him first.. I dont want to but I must"

*Evil* Decisions are driven by Ego and wants
"Lame dragon, givin me gypo.. Ill nail his head to the floor!"
"I bet theres mad booty in yonder troll mound, lets go clean it out!!"

Thats my take... Its not perfect, but its my veiw of shadeless rolplay morality

You missed my point. The evil gnome said that the only immaterial thing truly evil people desire is power. I said that was simplified and that they might for example desire eternal life and knowledge, both immaterial.

"In fact, the only reliable thing about them is that they are totally unreliable."

True.. Granted but amoung the few immaterial things an evil person might want, Power is the most vital.

Knowledge, true but only becouse it is a form of power and can be exercised to an end that couses the villain to obtain power.

Eternal life, definatly but.. Life isnt truly immaterial or matieral, its the base... No one wants to stop existing in the world as we know it, good or evil.
