I haven't got to Durlag's Tower yet, currently in the sewers I think :D But the first time I played it, I found DT rather tedious... It delayed my progress somewhat just because I didn't want to go back to that tower... ;) (But currently I have a fast-approaching deadline, so it'll probably be a while till I get there again...)

Heroes of M&M 3 until i loaned to my a friend
Perfect Dark on N64 :D
Finished Max Payne SPOILER about the end!
Return to castle wolfenstein was good until you ran into those "i won't die even if you empty two clips on my head and still i rise up again" undeads in the catacombs    i was hoping you'd get one 3d shooting game where you could simpy kill humans and don't have to battle against some undead/other dimension monsters/some alien race etc. :( i'm very disappointed to the game makers, it could've been one of my favourite games...

i like Medal of Honor though(haven't played very far, the normandy episode is more than insanely difficult... stuck in the situation where you have to go through a mine field, kill the nazis who in 5 seconds occupy two machineguns up in the hill, and you have to run about 200 meters ánd just when you think you've made it a frikkin' bomb explodes 4 inches in front of you, it has a nice atmosphere, but c'mon you should atleast have snowballs chance in hell to complete the mission :D

i was disappointed i couldn't kill the ***** in person, that you have to shoot some cables and tip the "tower" on the chopper :(

Maybe I'd better wait till I get ADSL. :D

Oh you will like it but it is very short. I recommend downloading the ladder mod that was made, good fun :)

Well i would be a good jedi....for some reason i never do evil very well :o
Maybe I'd better wait till I get ADSL. :D
Methinks my 28kbps wouldn't put up with saber duel with anyone :D

@Locke, re:RTCW, definately agree, it just ruined the experience, plus the best levels were he sneaking ones but they only gave us 2  re: Max Payne, again i agree, plus why in the cutscenes does he always shoot with the duel barretta?

My question is why is Max always smiling? I find that eerily creepy... :o

@Grunty: You know, you suck the fun out of my plans.... :D

@Sleep: Looking for excuses already, eh Sleepy? :D

@Sleep: Looking for excuses already, eh Sleepy? :D

As my comp is messed up at home with no net and my secondary 60 gig hard drive is not working, i can only install one game on my primary 10 gig hard drive, which is Diablo 2.
That is all that i am playing, haven't finished it yet, but i am still in act 1 at level 13.
I think i will finish off the act once i get to level 20.
Does anybody know what is the max level of Diablo 2?

Waiting for TDD to go TOB with Storm of Darkness and the other 2 romance mods along with the 2 item add ons.
Then i will never see the light of day! :D

Speaking of lag - saw an advert of ADSL saying "frag your [56k modem] opponents before they've even begun moving".

Good angle but *that* kinda sucks the fun out of things.

IIRC someone played to level 98, but the lvl 99 would've cost as much as the previous 98 all together, so good luck gathering around (5?) gigs of exp wihtough dying... my friend has a lvl 60 paladin, he has about 200+ million exp could be much more, could be less of course there's programs like shadow keeper to help you cheat in diablo, but that takes the very little of point the game has away IMO

ATM waiting someone to return from US back to finland so we can play counterstrike on LAN :D :D can't beat the classics ;)

has anyone played Medal of Honors normandy mission through??? and if you have, how'd you do it? that requires more than just skill

@Locke:

Yeah, I've done the MoH Normandy mission. It is tough!
Scarily realistic in a Saving Private Ryan rip-off way! ;)

Its all in the timing....

*****SPOILERS*****

The MG42s and 34s sweep the beach in a constant fashion. All you have to do is run from obstacle to obstacle in between the bursts - always run to small huddles, you will know the right ones because dialogue begins. Otherwise you die! Same goes for explosions - they're timed/patterned. Same goes for the sniper section - use the rifle then run. Its all clearly indicated as to what to do and where to go - just listen and follow instructions. It takes some time and effort but is worth it.

This is my favourite part of any game I've ever played. :)

Currently playing IWD for the first time.

@ Weasel, 1602 AD ? I found alot of the scenarios to be very difficult (and I could not complete alot of them, but did enjoy the game. I always found a great navy is key.....just start wiping out your opponents fleets, and eventually their economy will suffer.....Then go in and wipe up!

The level where oyu escort the tank crew is dirty. It took me several tries. Though, I finally taught them. Never saw the grenades flying at em. :D

The max is level 99, offline it's really hard to level up at all, but on battle.net there are hundreds of level 99 players. I have an 81 paladin and an 81 barbarian on my account (who wants it?) along with a 57-ish barb I was making when I quit the game. The game is way more fun online, in fact I don't think I've ever played another game which I found to be as fun as it continuously, for such a long period of time (almost a year in total).

how very sad

right now i have games in:

BG1: Ftr/Cl and full party
BG2/TDD: Swash/Cl and full party
IWD/HoW: Full Party
Dungeon Siege
Age of Empires II with the conquerors
Counterstrike
Halo
NHL 2002
Triple Play 2002
Madden 2002
Halo
Ghost Recon/Desert Siege
Arcanum

IWD2 is on order.

Some of these games I haven't played for a while (BG1 probably since last december, same with Arcanum). Still, I have unfinished games there and will eventually get to them. As my mood changes, so the games I play listed above. I hate it when the power goes out.

@Ned Flanders:

Can you give me your opinions on AOE2: Conquerors?

From what I've heard, your peasants automatically re-farm exhausted farms. For me, that's probably the selling point. I hate having to click on 12 villagers in the middle of battle to re-plant farms. The game is on sale for 20 dollars in Best Buy. I just thought that I should get an opinion before I buy it. Thanks.

Currently, I'm only playing Diablo II but Astafas tricked me into buying Dungeon Siege by mentioning it would suit a Diablo fan like me :D So I will very soon start playing that one too :)

IMO it's not so hard to level up off line, I have a lvl 86 sorceress and lvl 80 (magic find) barbarian. The sorcess and the amazon are the classes that are easiest to level quickly, I leveled my bowazon from 34 to 48 in 4 hours yesterday. The trick is that you must write "players X" when you play offline, that way the game gives you XP as if you were X players (any number from 1-8). The monsters of course get X times as many hitpoints. After about lvl 80 it gets tedious to level up though, and IMO pure levelling is not fun when you have already beaten the final boss in hell difficulty. So I use my two high lvl characters to find magical items, gamble in shops and build magic equipment in the cube.

Playing online or together with other people on local network is much more fun than playing alone IMO, I always play either online or with my husband.

Hey thanks alot guys for all the info on Diablo.
I am not much of an on-line gamer, we actually NWN will be the first game i play across the net.
Anyway how do you play on line, through battle net, and should i play on line?
Also should i level up first and then import my character or what?
Any links would be nice.

@CM: You have to play a certain character either online at battle.net, or locally. You can't move a character between the two modes of play, you have to decide when you start a new character. I have several character I play locally, and some I play online. Playing on battle.net allows you team up with other characters, which can be nice. However, one has to watch out for other players who might try to kill you or fool you into trading fake items etc. Read the Warnings on the site below if you plan to play on battle.net.

Here is a link to a good site with lots of information about how to play the game, all the items you can find, strategy advice and advice on how to play on battle.net.
