What an outstanding tournament this has been. If the salukis pull off a victory vs. UCONN (very possible), we will see the possibility of a 10, 11, and 12 seed at having a one game shot at the final four. amazing. We need kansas and maryland to lose. I don't remember when the last final four was without a one seed. I could look it up but I'm guessing 1980: I believe it was Iowa, UCLA, Purdue, and Louisville. I'll have to look it up.

Dude,

go to bed. It's 2am,and you're drinking shine

Duke really choked (sort of disappointing as I am a coach K fan, but I hate saying I'm a Duke fan)

Kent state got screwed in the final seconds of regulation. thank goodness justice prevailed and they held on to win.

@T, sorry about the wildcats. They had mere minutes of the game on here in Minnesota. I was pretty disappointed.

@BS, good luck with your wildcats tomorrow. The sports radio networks down there must be running rampant with anti Maryland propaganda. I have a feeling Maryland will choke, I despise that club. All that talent and no discipline, they always collapse as a team.

Go Missouri

did you guys watch the missou/ookla game. Good Lord, Arthur Johnson is only a sophomore. That team is loaded, I can't believe they had so rough a season. Especially when they were a preseason #2 in the nation. btw, did you folks know their coach, Quinn Snyder, is a coach K protege.

@BS,

Do you bleed 'blue' like most folks in kentucky? Is Kentucky basketball still the dominating religion? just kidding man. :D

It was a great victory, even if they waved the foul on Boozer after Williams missed his free throw.

Boozer was hacked or at least was prevented physically from going back up with a shot. That would've at least put them in another one and one situation.

However, they collapsed and choked in the second half and you can't rely on the refs to bail you out. Still, it was bitter because all everyone ever does is whine about the main reason duke always wins is because they get all the calls.

I'm not a huge duke fan and I'm the biggest supporter of upsets come tourney time; I just thought the call was lame taking an objective approach of two teams playing a basketball game; leave duke and their rep out of it.

Still, it's amazing that a five and a ten seed are playing for one of the final four slots.

Congrats McBane. **fetches him one of those 2,488 oz. bottles of heineken**

@Ned.....joke not about the religion of the Cats. Actually, there is never any other topic of conversation here come tourney time other than the Wildcats. :D

Unless of course it revolves around hating Duke.......

*still sees that damn shot*

@ Ned - Boozer "probably" got hacked. There are not too many officials who will make that call in that situation. If he would have gone up a little stronger, he might have gotten the call.....

IMO, Williams took a huge swan dive on that 3 point shot, so the 2 instances kinda canceled each other.

Anyway, it was surprising to see the foul trouble Duke got into. It usually seems skewed towards the Blue Devils.

@ BS - I thought I would never say this, but, them there Kintuckee fans sure were nice. :D :D

Yay Duke Lost. I hate Duke so much. Too bad Ohio State lost.

But both Cincinatti and Duje have been knocked out. THis is great.

And what the hell is Missourie doing? They've gotten too far.
What about S. Illonois. Beat Georgia and Texas Tech.
Kent St. took out Oklahoma, Alabama and Pitt.

They were ranked second in the nation back in december. They had a really rough run through the big 12 this and had quite a few injuries. Quinn Snyder's really brought them to life though and they are playing their best basketball now. That's all that matters. I found that bracket so weak I put em down for the final four. One game left.

Sorry about KY BS. I was pulling for them although much of the game was missed up here in the frozen tundra. We were treated to kansas and illinois. It was a good game also, but not the one I wanted to watch. Kansas played amazing. Heinrich and Collison each had three fouls with 11 minutes left in the first half. I took them for dead but their underclassmen really shined after they sat down. Kansas went in with a six point lead and they held in the second. I think Heinrich finished with three fouls and played most of the second half. Oregon is going to have its' hands full.
