Not to fight ya Sleepy, but my comments do have a point towards the subject. I am showing that the true meaning and purpose of science has been blurred/lost because of religion. The more people that follow a religion, the more science becomes less important, and blurred.

Yes they may have a point, but arguing about the definition of The Tree of Knowledge (however one refers to it) does not necessarily refer to Science and is more based on semantics than discussion. The Bible is based on the Hebrew language, it is a translation so therefore words can and might be lost in translation.

Granted that didn't have any direct corelation to the discussion, but by stating what I did about that, it helps clear up my stand point in the over discussion, for more people then just SS.

I have the proof that Aegis is wrong right here, sitting in my lap

Note: I left this so that Waverly's post still makes sense. I hope that's okay...and I'm PMing what I had posted to Mr. Sleep.

Erm, those things can be awfully compelling, but you can't win every argument with one.

[just trying to lighten the mood, no offense intended :D ]

I knew you were going to post this. :p

Though I am uncertain as to what "those things" are that you're referring to...or rather, what you think they are.

Knowing me, do you think I was referring to the bible, or something quite different? BTW, no need to play with that thing in your lap, you’re libel to go blind… you know, the print is small and hard to read. :D

http://www.olivetree.com/bible/ - The finest online search engine and it’s possible to link to pages or just cut and paste. Producing such evidence to begin with much is much preferable to just arguing about it. And yes, Waverly knows you are correct. [Genesis 2:17 ” But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it”]

I think Sleep would prefer we get back on topic... just be glad I don't have time to address the mis-defining of 'belief' at the moment. :)

Thankyou Waverly for the link :) I hope that the conversation can get back to the topic that was originally suggested.
