Bilbo Baggins is a Hobbit of the Shire, and the original adventurer from Tolkien's The Hobbit.
Bilbo was drafted by Gandalf into joining a quest to reclaim the lost kingdom of The Lonely Mountain. The story is told in The Hobbit, and it was during the course of this seminal quest that Bilbo found the One Ring, defeated Gollum, and in effect sparked the conflict that would later be told in the Lord of the Rings.
Bilbo returned to The Shire and retired to the life of a country gentleman until his nephew Frodo was old enough to inherit his estate, and take on the guardianship of the Ring. At that point Bilbo, now well into his senior years and feeling the restlessness that had been instilled in him by his experiences, decided to leave the Shire for the wild places he had come to love so well and ended up living with the High Elves of Elrond at Rivendell.

I've taken a similar test at http://www.zovakware.com/tests/lordoftherings.htm were you specificaly could point out that you wanted pointy ears. Despite me doing so I was marked as Denethor. Cool as he may be, pointy ears he have not, this was the cause of my joy at the outcome of this one.Originally posted by fable

Hm...on that second poll, I got Theodon. But then, it has so few questions, and is obviously less relable as a psychological aid to determining shared personality traits in Middle Earth.

I'm not sure, I don't remember since it was ages ago I read the books, and I haven't seen the movie yet. Isn't he a sort of goody-two-shoes disgustingly noble and good etc individual?Originally posted by Dottie
