I've been to many desert islands, in fact I love desert islands! I think my choice would be one the Kuril islands (Between Japan and the Russian Kamchatka penisula) or St Kilda west of Scotland. The Kurils are vulcanic islands with - well, vulcanoes and sea cliffs. St Kilda has very high sea cliffs that looks like huge black fangs from a distance. There, I'll go with my husband and 1000 of the worlds' great works of literature

weeelll if its not much to ask for i would like just one little luxury -

the british library book collection inside the british museum building.
