Good timing! I have to go, too.
@all: make yourselves comfortable, and keep those gifts coming.
Peace.

@Georgi: Certainly better than his birthday suit, although I agree it would be the ultimate ascetism

(how on earth do you spell that?)

Yep, when I came home from the lab this evening, I fell asleep although it was only like 7.30, then I slept like dead until now

The article is almost finished, we went through some revisions today, and I have to send the revised version in the middle of next week. (Normally it takes a few months to write an article of this type, so we are well on schedule.) So I'm going to relax a couple of days now, then start working again about Tuesday or Wednesday. (We celebrate Christmas Eve in Sweden, Christmas day is secordary)
How nice to hang around and to nothing constructive

That's how I plan to spend the weekend
@Monk: If I could drink alcohol I'd love to drink myself into a stupor, but since I can't, it will have to be some nice, relaxing monk herbal tea
EDIT: Goodnight Georgi, hope to see you soon again
Bye Monkie boy, see you later

I think our Monk would disagree about that kind of asceticism though
I was about to ask why you weren't in bed now if you only had 9 hours sleep the last 4 days

Well, have a good weekend

Fine, see if I call you a "good" spammer again!

I'll refer to you as a terrrible spammer from now on

Expected, esp if Aegis is leading it!
*Whacks McBane with a Piranha*

hey I want a gift

Thanks, COMMrade Fas for the gifts, and the ladies, of course.
Here, I've got this BattleArmor from my smithies that is impervious to Darkflames AND spam (that is, if you want your displacer cloak some rest now and then);
To go with that, here is a UBER COMMnic Great Sword of Light that would have your adversary not just dissipitate but perhaps realize that COMMunicating is THE Way.
Lastly, the Shield of COMMnic Truth, which not only repels spam but sends it back to the attacker thus giving them a dose of their medicine.
A demo, if you please...

Darkflames incoming...

...thus the darkfire is extinguised by its own flame with a great help from the Sword...
...an Aegis simulacrum, coming to the aid of a fallen "lover

"
...the expected reaction...

...

...tata, fish-lover!

This would be likely my last (if not, then one of the last)post for the year as I prepare myself for my flight back home. Though I have internet access there, my time would be greatly hampered. I want to spend more quality time with honey and son.
@Mr. Sleep: placebo weeds, with Thai and Philippine spice for that extra kick!
@Fable: some digestible natural herbs to flush out impurities that may complicate things after reaching the big 5 and O.
@the Sultry One: a COMMnic Japanese dictionary for a more effective use of your anime.
@the Gorgeous One: the Groin Grabber- keeps unwanted men from EVEN thinking of making a bad pass at her.
@the Vivacious One: an inter-planetary furrball to keep you busy (no, it's indigestible, I don't think Fas would be able to eat it)
@CE: a replica of a Lasker Award in her field of specialty, hopefully it would be a sign for better things to come.
@Der Moench: A Habit of Transfiguration - good for "going out" of the monastery in order to "study" the forbidden things so that he may feel blessed that he is enlightened afterall (comes with the Tome of Be).
@Bloodstalker: My Sensei, here, take this Order Form from a publisher interested in having you come up with a newer version of the Tome of Be. Great royalties there!
@Aegis:The Fisher King gets a lifetime supply of Fish Essence - guaranteed to keep him at an ecstatic state (though I would not say the same thing to people who happen to be around him)
@Gruntboy: The COMMnic Air Marshall would get The Hangar - complete with engineers, mechanics and supplies for building better aircrafts according to his specification.
@Sandyboy: The Ultimate Wall: this one talks AND listens... you may bring it to someone else's room and put it indiscreetly... then get it some time and see what it would come up with
for the others, I'll see what I can come up with...
