My mood seems to be going up and down without reaching a middle ground, sadly.When I get too happy, I go crazy, when I get too depressed, I go crazy as well (just not in a good way

Saigo: I know! I think I mainly get annoyed at the gereralizations which are supposed to be 'truth'. I don't like being told that republicans are evil, and democrats are stupid. But, discussing issues is what a person looks for, because it would be nice to think that people tend to see eye to eye, and it's just the rhetoric which gets in the way.

Brink: I had a friend with extreme swings in college, she was categorized as 'bi-polar', and went to counseling, and is a bit better now. She was extremely hard on herself.
I think another term is 'manic depressive', which is mania (extreme happiness/energy) and depression. In my friends case, she actually has a hormonal imbalance, and was given the option of some sort of medicine, but she chose therapy.
On the other hand, I had extreme swings my second year of college, and was not bi-polar, just confused
