Ov course I'm dalking about my dose, whad did you dink? ** downs his C.C.B. and takes a drink from one of the glasses of Laphroaig ** posting from home today, mate - had to take all my holiday days this year, so I figured a Wednesday would be good to get away from the Helldesk mid-week

Is NWN still not working ? I'm expecting to get is within the next 2 weeks.... ...

Well, my dad has always had a connection. The trouble is he always needs the computer when he's home. Hooking my own computer to the net can't be done (unless I install myself in the living room ). As for NWN, I think it still runs slow, unless there's a patch that solves problems with Savage3 cards, so I probably won't get it to run properly, before I get another card (probably a Radeon or GeForce) ** takes another drink from his Laphroaig ** I hope you have more luck with it

We'll have to wait and see.
A friend is giving me HIS package because he has problems installing it - so I get to test NWN ...and it might just take me several da..we...ahem - months before finding "nothing wrong with it" and returning it to the owner... (and buying my own...IF I like it....).
On the other hand - it might REALLY be broken - and I'll give it back on the next day with orders to "give it back to the clerk who sold it to you....backwards ...." ....and get a replacement...

Meanwhile, I have yet to finish WarCraft III, but I got tired of those damn Night Elves keep coming at me in hordes and suffering massive losses, so that's why I decided to play through the Baldur's Gate Saga again with Jay and Silent Bob . I turned Come son of Jor-El - kneel before Zod (quote from Mallrats) into Jay's becoming leader speech ** drinks some more Laphroaig **

It still needs work; I don't have a soundstudio or decent recording equipment . But no worries (copyright@Beldin), I'll mail you the .wav-files (Jay only for now for obvious reasons ), CHAR-files and character portraits if you really want them - keep in mind I'm still playing through BG with them, though ** downs his glass of Laphroaig ** and now it's time for me to sign off; got to go pick up my kid brother from school . I thought it was a holiday for you guys.

Well my day has been eventful thus far. Yesterday I witnessed a wreck, today I witnessed a wreck in the snow....and it was me. No damage. So Im happy. And it gives me an excuse to miss classes.

Wreck in the snow ? You ? Nothing serious I hope...

I think the thing that was most serious is my parents are a nervous wreck right now. Im in good shape.

Well what happened was, the plows here in this town tend to not be ready for the first snow, so roads were atrocious. I was going 20 mph. And I hit a hill with a small patch of ice, so my car gradually pulled to the side, enough that I didnt really notice...before I knew it, I was saying in a calm mannor "CRAP!". As my car pulled to a stop and bent a guardrail. I was fine. But I immediately thought of my car. So I looked for damage....nothing.....so I attempted to pull out in reverse....nothing...Dammit! So then I call my parents saying, Im stuck. While calling, two other cars skid right behind me, one making very slight contact to my rear bumper....no damage...I finally get a tow after 30 minutes, and I drive away. Nothing more. But this is a busy road...where were the plows? I saw one...and it wasnt even plowing!

I thought Eery had the day off...but hes in Belgium, isnt he?

@ the est of your problems - Living in a region with severe winters I can relate to that. I HATE snow... ...

LOL A self-declared holiday. Classic!

Well this hasnt deterred me. Im still looking forward to driving, and I still like snow. But when you put them together...well its not that appealing. I mean, I live in a nice quiet rural area. Its just awe inspiring to look at the snow in nature...its beautiful. But what aint beautiful are the roads. I dont like snow so much when mixed in with man made stuff, unless it is within the natural atmosphere....like when I look at the feeders and birdbath outside, in the backyard, where the woods are right behind that....seeing a squirrel jump from tree to tree as he tries to navigate through the foot of snow....its a description that goes beyond words...

Maybe I hate it so much because weve got a snow blower and I dont have to do the shoveling.
