Ruined letters got it. First round is history, and Ty is in severe danger of starting the next round at -1000 for musical tackiness and genereally making that damn song stick in my head  :p

OHHHH! [evil voice] I specialize in so many diabolical fields that no one dares have a clue....where shall I start? New Wave? Battlebots? NASCAR? 1-hit wonders? Baseball? :D [/evil voice]

I am thinking the history of NASCAR.

11 year fan. Knowledge of a good chunk of the last 25 years. And HEY! You'll get to learn about a new sport. :D  I am going to say, however, that there are empty spots in my knowledge of the sport. If you happen to target those blank areas, then we're in a bit of trouble. But NASCAR is my big specialty.

Im not sure yet. I could also choose Battlebots which will make the entire board majorly upset with me. So I think it could go either way. :D

And I dont like the way youre grinning at me.....

Hehe, I'm seriously thinking Radiohead then. Or, just to annoy you, The New York Yankees history :D However I do have a proposition; that we all actually pick normal categories...I can play hardball too, but I'm not sure if I want to.

Oh and Tyb; I'm thinking that picking a very specialist category that you have even the slightest non-knowledge of could make gaps in the game a few weeks wide... :D

I've got an idea, actually. How about, for my category, I have questions on something like "the current Christian names of the Backstreet Boys"? Shouldn't be able to go wrong there :D

But right now, my first choice has to be Radiohead. I challenge you to find out something I don't know about them :D

No, you can't help :D It's going to be a learning experience for BS, in the hopes of weaning him off that hair band stuff he calls music. You can answer the questions though...I'm pretty sure he couldn't get anything past us both ;) I thought you might be interested :p

Well Ive decided. I would like to make my catagory "The Modern Era of NASCAR." Meaning the series since 1975 when rules changed and the schedule became more realistic when the schedule was reduced to 30 races and now is back up to about 40.

Good points Kam. Remember kids, while yu get to crack the whip and choose what I have to look up and get questions on, do not be surprise if your catagory is so "unique" and hard to research if you get asked a question like " This is the middle name of the lady who sold Dale Ernhardt's sister-in-law's brothers best freind a puppy dog 10 years ago" :D

Also, do not be surprised when the correct answer simply "appears" in every contestants PM box except for yours.

But don't let me rain on your parade :D :D

I haven't decided yet. Anyone have any good suggestions? Sadly, most of my knowledge is fairly US-centric and inappropriate for this board. Perhaps "Great Events In SYM"? :D How about "Dr. Who"?

With us picking the categories, the game is starting to sound more like Brain of Britain..... ;)

I can be Brain....but who's gonna be Pinky? :D
