WAIT! Thats the key to RAVS DESTRUCTION!!!!!!!!
First, we break the rules in this thread, then, we report it to him. Due to his sense of loyalty, he'll be forced to close it, but the emotional pain of closing his own thread will kill him!
Hah! How evil...and yet, here's the Achilles Heel...I don't have the mod powers outside the forums I moderate, I can't close or lock anything etc...

Geez, I'm really showing my bizarre political standards in this country of mine. You'd think a fascist dictator like I've made myself out to be would really be out there... and yet, I just pumped a ton of my budget into education. My generals, who pleaded with me to give them money to increase the police force and army, are not happy. Then again, I did ban protestors, and I did ban bicyclists on major roads.
A country with no drug laws, outlaws protestors, puts excess funds into education, bans elections...

How does that happen, chim?

When you start your country, you get asked some basic questions, which determines your Civil Rights, Economy, and Political Freedoms (they also add to the things listed as features of your country [for example, your country and mine both have no drug laws, due to a question on legalizing marijuana we both answered at game start]). Add to that the fact that I've had three issues crop up since I started my country. Issue 1 was on compulsory voting, which I chose to ban voting outright. Issue 2 was a protest conducted by people on bicycles who wanted cars to be banned; I banned protesting instead, so "bicyclists are banned from major roads" has appeared in my country's description. Issue 3 was a budget choice which has yet to be resolved yet, but the choices were between putting extra money in education, military/police, health and social welfare, or just cut back on taxes; I went with education. So my nation is full of pot-smoking motorists who can't vote or protest, but at least they'll be well-educated.
Oh, and I went into Settings and changed it so my country would get two major issues a day, so I'm resolving more issues than the game is regularly set to receive. Hence why things are happening quickly in my little despotic nation.

Oh I see. I have had some issues but not so many. I thought I was missing something else I should be doing. Thanks for that

Paris Hilton's driving a golf cart (drunk) in some hot pink outfit. I'm watching her drive a golf cart (drunk) in some hot pink outfit... Which of us is at fault here?

Er....which planet is that, then?
Though admittedly pink suits you

I'm just wondering. I mean, the public likes to take the piss out of her for being slutty, spoiled and such... But it makes for a TV series that millions have been watching for the past three years or so. Aren't we just as pathedic, then?

Reminds me of the question "Who's the more foolish, him for going or me for following?" In this case, who's the more foolish: Paris Hilton, bimbo extraordinairre, drunk and driving a golf cart, or Tony for subjecting himself to watching her drunken antics?

Well the people who gave them "bread and circuses" did not hold the Roman mob in high esteem, I believe
