1) It cannot be seen, it weighs nothing, but when put into a barrel, it makes it lighter. What is it?

And a legendary one :D -
2) Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.

1/ Air or nothing?

2/ Language

And here's the history on that pesky riddle:

http://www.riddlenut.com/gryriddle.php

Darn, I just revealed the website I'm getting my riddles from... :(
Had to happen eventually.

A new riddle from the website mentioned above. I dare anyone to go through 786 riddles to get the answer. :D

I am two-faced but bear only one, I have no legs but travel widely. Men spill much blood over me, kings leave there imprint on me. I have greatest power when given away, yet lust for me keeps me locked away. What am I?

Oooo, I was hoping that 2 will be hard one :( , but, well a legend is a legend ;) . But I took it from elsewhere... :p

@Rav, nope, neither, though second is close...and would that be a coin?

Nar- my second try on 2/ 'is' ?

And, yes, you're right. Can you give other people a headstart? :p

Hmm... maybe I should stick that in the rules. Something like a hour or two headstart :p . Just kidding... for now at least!

Alright, then, Den, let's see you try again.

He he he... Dwarves are noted for their secretive nature. This one also has his wits. *lies on his side and twists a few hairs of his beard in his right hand* :D

A farmer and his hired help were carrying grain to the barn. The farmer carried one sack of grain and the hired help carried two sacks. Who carried the heavier load and why?

could be difficult, but if you read it correctly then you should get it fairly quickly.

How about this:
1)Name an eight letter word that has kst in the middle, in the beginning, and at the end.
2)You are standing in front of a room with one lightbulb inside of it. You cannot see if it is on or off. Outside the room there are 3 switches in the off positions. You may turn the switches any way you want to. You stop turning the switches, enter the room and know which switch controls the lightbulb. How?
