ROFL @ froggy ! I just saw the
smoking hat

.....but aren't you a little to young for THAT kind of entertainment ?
(I know the last sentence is a little out of character for me, but some certain
herbs aren't very good if you're still growing up...

) .
But the hat is GREAT !

No worries (
copyright@Beldin), I'll second you on that

....**sigh**..... Say, E-Man, could you please
SHOOT ME ?
One more of
those days ...and I'll do the deed myself...

...
**opens another can of beer and flops down on a chair**

Duffman says: not cool

. I can feel your pain, mate... but here's a better suggestion: instead of shooting
yourself, we both go on a
(L)user killing spree
** calls in the
Duff cheerleaders to give Beldin a massage ** Hang in there, buddy... weekend's on the way

...thank's mate , I needed that....**smiles at the cheerleaders and pats one on her backside**
It's not that the NUMBER of calls is that bad, but I had 3 really BIG problem escalations today....and guess WHO has to put in overtime to pacify everyone...even the ones who SCREWED UP....

....
EDIT - OK, in ONE case it might have been MY mistake which triggered it, but there's no proof to that...there never is

I can definitely relate, mate - we released a new Service Pack last week and we've had reports of BUGs all week

. And, of course, the Helldesk is the first line of defense to take the heat - no matter who's responsible

. Just keep cool

, mate - it's not worth getting all worked up about ** tosses Beldin another can of
Duff Extra Cold ** What do
they know

Well - basically only what I
want them to know....since I controll my own reporting by being my own supervisor....
It just happened that
someone along the line didn't pass some
crucial customer information on to the on-site technician....-
(I'm really not sure if it was me.... !)
- but HEY, it's not my fault that I wasn't on the guest list for to their annual christmas-bash this year...

...
But no worries, I'm off for today.....may the weekend be with you , mate !
C U on monday !

Hmmm, birthdays and christmas all in one go. Real fun for gift ideas.
Thankfully work has quitened down a bit now, not so frantic anymore
@Beldin, aren't all mondays busy? It's when you find out what idiotic things users have been trying to do all weekend

We don't give Christmas presents as such, but he does get birthday presents (1st of December), Sint-Niklaas' (6th of December; sort of like Santa Claus in America) and New Year's presents (1st of January). Very expensive month for his godfather

Looks like I'm through the worst.......

....
Mondays are worst. Closely followed by Fridays - when everyone wants his problem fixed NOW - because the world will come to an end if the damn thing doesn't work on the weekend....

!
Later @ Flibbs !
