I knew 2000 was the limit, but i was never gonna write that much.
500 words would be around where i would have stopped in fear of it being too long.

I think this limit on the length of arguments is outrageous! I am convinced it is a plot to stiffle the debates by hamstringing those of us who prefer to write in complete sentences and to handicap the people who will bring evidence beyond character assassination, logical fallacies and circular arguments to the table. I feel that this is a direct affront to me, especially in light of several comments made in the recent past about my "insane" and "excessive" post lengths. I demand that all arbitrary limits on the length of debates be abolished.

Over ruled, a system needs to be in place, anarchists like you with your overly flowery dialogue are not permitted to slander the more aspiring members with your hear say and conjecture. If you wish to lodge a formal complaint you can do so here.

Actually i was wondering are we actually going to get any debates?

I actually wrote what I thought was an excellent opening post 2 days ago...just to loose it in some strange way

I don't know what I did, but I managed to overwrite the file with another file I was working on

I will however write a new one, I assure you, (perhaps tonight if I don't faint from the heat here)!

If a post is about something factual it doesn't matter so much since it is easy to reconstruct with the same meaning, but when you try be witty, it's always impossible to get is as good again I think - humour is an impulsive thing, at least for me.
