*Sigh* Cheesemage you bump more then a blind person in a crowded room. Can you at least attempt to post something more then simply bump? Masters of Spam must do more then simply bump topics.

Special update: Title undecided

It’s been a long while since I’ve last updated the guide, my sincerest apologies to everyone who’s a fan of it. I guess I’m now a major spammer in here (either that or I really need to get a life :p ) with my 7000+ posts. I’m pleased to say that I’ve learned many things since my fence-sitting days; both from my own experience and from observing the other spammers in action. This update is for me to share what I’ve learned with everyone, pre-spammer or spammer, hoping that you all will not make the same mistakes that I did. Here goes nothing:

-Never flame anyone unless you’re prepared to take a flaming from him or her in return. So for all of you who are planning to flame someone, ask yourself first; are you willing to get flamed? (of course, there are exceptions to this rule; Darkpoet almost never flames back, and you will get flamed anyway by Waverly no matter how hard you try not to flame him )

-Always respect the board rules (yes, I’m sure that nearly everyone knows this, but there are still some who don’t). Don’t think that breaking the rules will make you a popular person; you’ll most likely be the butt of every other member’s jokes (just ask baasie(sp?) )

-Being a fence-sitter is fun.Sorry, can’t help it :p . Seriously, it is pretty good, since it’s highly unlikely that you’ll be attacked by any sides which are at war with each other (then again, there is a chance that they’ll forget about their war and instead, join forces against you; may God bless you then )

-Treat others the way you want them to treat you .I believe this speaks for itself

-Smileys are one of the most useful tools to have around . They can be the deciding factor as to how the others would react to your post. You should use more of them if your post was intended as a joke (yes, there have been cases where a joke was taken seriously because of a lack of smileys)

- Don’t overdo something .For instance, being depressed once in a while is generally acceptable, but people will usually get fed up with you if you do it constantly. I should know (once again, I apologize for bringing my depression to the forums)

- Sending multiple private messages(PM) to someone isn’t nice.Again, you’re just going to upset that person if you do this(to the person that I’ve done this to, I’m sorry ).You’re better off waiting for a reply before you send another PM to him or her(unless you’re really desperate, then I’d suggest you limit the amount of PM that you’re going to send)

I guess that's all I could think off right now.Perhaps I'll do another update later :) .I know that most of it is all common sense, but I included it anyway for the benefit of the uninitiated.Hope you all liked it :) .

Hello all :)

I have returned one last time to post my retirement from being the author of the pre-spammer's guide.I find that I no longer have the time or the ability to keep up with the things that are happening around here anymore. So, if anyone is interested in contributing to this guide, please, by all means, do so :) .Your contributions will be greatly appreciated; even if no one else does, I will appreciate :)

To the regulars: please keep this thread within the first page of the forum (consider this as my final request from you :) ).

To the pre-spammers: I apologize for I have not been actively updating the guide as of late.I do hope that you'll learn some tricks to prepare you for the wonderful world of spam (and have fun at the same time ) within this guide

Sorry, but I can't stay for long (I'm at my friend's house).I thank you all for the wonderful times we had together; I hope that the good memories will overshadow the bad ones :) .Goodbye and good luck in all of your lives :)
