Well, I've only been up two hours...
Mostly working on D&D stuff really. Though I think I'll be recruited into cutting the lawn later for the equivalent of two hours wages at the shop.

The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was the non-aggression pact between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, which gave Hitler the ability to invade Poland without risk of a two-front war. It also gave the Soviets free range to expand their sphere of influence in the Baltic states (Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia) as well as Finland, and ceded a chunk of Polish territory to the Soviets.

Yep. France tried to get Britain to sign a three-way 'alliance' with Russia the month before, but it was too binding for Britain.
