What of?

Can you learn to roll your R's? I've tried, it didn't work.

And I'm planning a break-in.

I'm going to go lock my doors.

I'll do the same...

But HOW do you do it? Vibrating your tongue on the top of your mouth right? I just can't do it! Maybe it's like how some people can't raise their eyebrow.

Try forcing your tongue against the roof of your mouth and exhaling.

What part didn't work, forcing your tongue against the roof of your mouth or exhaling?

Anyway, that's the only way to roll an R. If you can't do it, you're hopeless.

@OS. Only the tip of your tongue to the roof of your mouth; quite flat and quite near your teeth. Then, as GoG says, exhale. You must be able to say crumbs

You force the sides of your tongue against the roof of your mouth, but not the tip; while rolling an R it's vice-versa

A similar ad appeared on American television for Ruffles brand potato chips with the slogan, "R-r-ruffles have r-r-ridges."

Maybe I can roll r's in a different way and just can't explain it...
