I meant "cuniculanthropy", actually. But yeah, I usually go for a while when I play around with the word I used too.
I would have thought not for long......almost by definition

Though perhaps your personification is more benign?

Well what I meant is basically that I don't mind the investment of time involved in playing that way.

Agreed. The return on investment is usually pretty attractive.
... Whenever I glance quickly at that I always forget what it actually says, and imagine it says "cunnilinganthropy".
*nods* I also get the picture of a guy in a rain slicker, with one of those big monacle things that has a magnifying lense in it doing umm...well, nm. I hads a bad day, but I found rum on sale. YAY!

Hey Mag, I've been meaning to ask... I thought you were laying off the sauce until July?

Well, I was, until I noticed motivation to do anything after I got out of work went away without a drink or two in me. My apartment went to hell, and Scott at work (co-worker) said he thought I looked like **** since I stopped drinking. So I did a test run, got hammered, went into work the next day and felt great. I've been on-off drinking since last week.

I agree. Nothing seems much fun anymore without alcohol. It really makes the boring hours pass more pleasantly.

Man, that is so the opposite of me. If I don't drink a bunch of water even 1 beer can give me a hangover and make me feel like crap all next day.

Indeed! I keep pestering the boss man to install a rum fountain for me so production goes up.
@ Darzog, I only get hungover if I drink more than 1 liter of alcohol in one 6 hour period without drinking water. Weird eh?

Don't worry, we've just had more practice. Much, much, MUCH more practice.

Yeah, I shudder when I attempt to count how many gallons of rum/vodka/yaeger I have consumed in the past 3 1/2 years. At some points, liqour consumption surpassed any other type of fluid consumption for weeks at a time.

Well, what I've found to work really well is just before I head to bed I drink a big glass of water and take a multi-vitamin. The water (and alcohol) makes me have to get up in the middle of the night to pee, when I do I drink another glass of water. As long as I do that I don't get a hangover no matter how much I drink. But if I forget I regret it the next day.

Actually, the more I drink (repetition not quantity) the more severe the reaction is. When I was in school and was drinking 3-4 times a week I could get hungover for multiple days if I didn't take care of myself. Now that I've found a working system I rarely get hungover anymore, but it still isn't as intense as it was when I was drinking omre regularly.
@Mag and Aramant,
OK, this may sound judgemental but that is not how I am intending it. I am curious on your take, so don't take this is a bad way. Do you think your earlier comments about not having fun or motivation without a couple of drinks in you show signs of alcoholism?

Well, I was joking with that. Things tend to get more fun/funny with alcohol, but the absence of it doesn't mean things aren't fun.
That said, I more than likely do exhibit signs of alcoholism. Thing is, I've been accused of being an alcoholic for a couple of years now, and the accusations began when I was drinking at most once a month on average. So I figure if I'm already sentenced, I might as well be guilty. But as of yet it's not affecting my life, as far as I can tell. Health maybe, but living to a ripe old age is hardly an attractive goal.

No, not really. There is a history of it in my family, and it's one of the reasons I do my periodic breaks from drinking, just to make sure, for my own peace of mind. I've become so tolerant of caffiene, it no longer works to give me energy. For some reason, rum does. The kick I get from having a few drinks in me allows me to get more stuff done. It's all a matter of whether it's worth the cost of my purchasing rum to do that really.
