Ah XtraniuM, spoken like a true football fan.

As for today's game, I think it's going to be very enjoyable as long as Bayern try to play a somewhat offensive game and not sit back in their own end. Valencia will be relying on their back four almost exclusively for their defense as we should expect their midfield to come out in full attack, at least until a goal is scored. Elber had better be as lucky as he was against Real Madrid. These two teams are not consistent enough to make any solid predictions, although I'd give Bayern Munich the benefit of the doubt since they must have a morale advantage having won the Bundesliga.

Portugal plays Cyprus which shouldn't be a problem, but in the grand tradition of the Portuguese it won't be a surprise if there's a surprise. Portugal have missed numerous World Cups at the hands of Armenia, Malta, etc. And what makes this worse is they're playing on the Sporting Lisbon ground...disaster waiting to happen; and Figo is gonna miss this game due to yellows, even worse! Anyhoo, the tie in Dublin last Saturday was a bad result for both teams, but at least Portugal still has the numerical advantage having finished all games against Holland & Ireland. Forca Portugal!

Yahoo :D , Denmark barely (??) won over Malta 2-1, Malta scored a goal in the 6th minute, and Denmarks Ebbe Sand (Best danish striker (also got named best player in "Bundesliga"))
scored in the 40th and 80th minute (Pfeeee - that was close  :eek :)

Czech(sp?) won over Northen Ireland and Blugari(sp?) tied with Island so now Denmark leads it's group :D :D :D

Sweden - Moldova 6-0

Alright so the opposition wasn't the greatest but still.....6-0....4 goals scored by Henrik Larsson :)

Well, first I would like to congratulate both Sweden and Denmark for winning their matches yesterday. Hipp Hipp Hooray. :)

Then I can say that Norway once again dissapointed the entrie nation. 1-1 home against Bielorussia (sp?) just isn`t good enough.
Since we are already out of the World Cup, I just hope any other Scandinavian team manages to qualify.

Well Belorussia is not a bad team, like say - Malta :)

I'm pretty optimistic about Denmarks qualification to the World Cup.
And hopefully when we get there we can put on a good show like last world cup (Where we beat Nigeria and almost beat Brazil - damned an exiting match   )

@Xandax. I`m not saying that Belorussia is a bad team. It`s just that we are supposed to beat them on a normal day. But it looks like all our offensive players are having a hard time right now. From the midfield and forward nothing goes right. I just hope we can get it together for the next qualifying series.

By the way, did anybody see the goal they made. That is one of the best shots I`ve seen in a long time. Approx. 25 meters and straight into the angle. Keeper had no chance of catching it.

Hmm Newcastle all the way...

Ho-WAY THE LADS!

And all that.

So what do people think about Englands chances in the next World Cup. Sven Goran Erikkson is doing miracle work with the team but do people think we can win the World Cup?

Oh, please... We don't know if England will play in the World Cup yet

(Okay, strictly not true. England is playing in the qualify, but you know what I mean).

What's a World Cup without Brazil?
