It seems like he is trying to cope with the intolerable loss of times passed by desperatly bumping old threads, thus creating an illusion of the passed time still being here. A maladaptive behaviour indeed. I think electric shock treatment is indicated, followed by insight therapy

I had been wondering why all the posters were before Member #1000...I thought some of the old members had come back. I'm a durr.
