I thought i had too but i woke up this morning with a saw arse and i felt this sudden rumbling, and then my house got liquidated. I must remember not to spend any nights out with Grunty in the future.

Maybe the mass exodus from this board is due to the dodgy ad strips?

Apparently the Worm is a BAAAD one. It is not exclusive to email - it also attaches to websites.
What worries me is I have had to recently wipe my hard drive because of a massive fallover immediately after clicking on a message link at Interplay....coincidence? I hope so. The link was regarding sound card problems (I was trying to help someone on BG2) the first thing to fall over was my sound card (speakers started screaming!)
I lost nearly a years work...(stupid stupid stupid - I have a zip did not back up....) I only backed between 2 separate hard drives....both affected.
I do not fully know the symptoms of Red Worm - only to be aware, and use an up to date virus checker.

Actually the red worm does nothing to directly effect the average user. It attacks Nt and 2000 servers only and can not migrate to your home system (unless you run a server
) I woyuldn't worry too much about this one Ysh

AFAIK it is mostly websites that are the target of this worm - but read the link if you want to know more

@Yshania: yeah - it is, that is why MicroSoft and FBI (hmmm - what a match) have together warned against this worm.

It ripped into one of the law firms I use to work at. They are now in the process of reinstalling everything.
